Odds Hell Mouth at ETSU

Buffy the Vampire Slayer lived in Sunnydale, which happened to be The Hell Mouth. Being The Hell Mouth, many far-fetched and unlikely events ensued.

Johnson City, Tennessee may be another Hell Mouth. Seven years ago (note the number), this happened at the ETSU Blue/Gold basketball game:

Then things settled down into probabilistic normalcy for a while. I decided to go see the Samford/ETSU game yesterday because Samford is in first place with an undersized team, and I really wanted to see what they looked like. I had not gone to a game this season. Seven years had passed since the back-to-back halfcourt makes for tuition. Then yesterday the woman who sits directly next to us at the game had her name called. She went down to the court and did this:
