It just is not credible that Rob just had to tell someone, so badly, but yet refuses to provide any supporting documentation that would support his extraordinary claim.

and stated that failure to do so, failure to be willing to provide proof to someone like Dan Druff AFTER talking about whatever online, represents lack of credibility.

so, just like what UNKewlJ said about RobSinger, that because he "had to tell someone," he should be willing to back up what he said, so should the UNKewl one follow his own demand and prove up what he has said.

Before that occasion when he kept pushing RobSinger to provide proof to DanDruff (and made a big deal out of that he didn't meet up with him / didn't provide any proof), UNKewlJ kept pushing for MDawg to play at a table in front of DanDruff or to at least meet him in Vegas, including for example here,

So MDawg posts this fantasy stuff on numerous forum and now both Wizard and Dan Druff have requested to meet him and observe his play. He refused wizard and will refuse Druff as well.

But it is very appropriate for these forum owners who provide the platform for this "adventure" to say "ENOUGH...show me".

to prove that he's for real, which was before I'd played in front of Wizard in the DarkOz Challenge.
UNKewlJ also loves to quote the DanDruff man with conviction, stating that Druff speaks with authority,

I stayed in a cabin on that lake like 40 years ago with my parents. I still remember that place. I thought it was called Lake Winnesquam though. Is that the same place? I also remember it being connected to Lake Winnipesaukee. There was some house on an island pretty much right near where we were staying if that helps.

I don't typically get too jazzed up about another WoV suspension, but in this instance I thought the mod was wrong as my comment was not what I'd consider an insult.

I haven't read WoV yet today, but will take a look. Shackleford has mentioned that often people will "file a complaint with him", meaning go crying to him, and then he will suspend someone, when he might otherwise not. I am guessing that is what your fleahound buddy did.

I have always considered myself and what I do kind of the lower ring on the AP ladder. And I play stakes that I have always considered mid-level or moderate, which results in making modest money. I have always thought of it as a "grinding type of AP or player". I now play a little differently, playing a little higher stakes but less volume, but it is that same modest amounts. I don't claim to be rich, or make half million a year, or hundreds of thousands a year.

But by the same token, I have made a comfortable living, for 15 years now in Vegas. I can't share some of that experience on a gambling forum, without being grilled and put on trial? Come on man.

Here are my conclusions:

With that said, there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabcricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete. In any case, coming onto a gambling forum full of APs and acting in such a way is also bad form, and it angers people. This is especially true because the internet is so highly saturated with gambling phonies, everyone's bullshit detector is set off the minute anyone brags about any winning beyond the norm. You know what they say... extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. MDawg has never provided this evidence. The frustration with him is justified.....

....The funny thing is that MDawg could have been mildly interesting if he just stuck to "I'm a high roller, here's my trip reports" sort of posts, and just kept quiet about his results. Not all of us get to see the high end suites or other spoils of being a casino whale. That stuff is interesting, even if it's an overall loser posting it.

Do I think MDawg is winning? No. I think he probably has some money (maybe not as much as he claims), likes to gamble, likes the high roller treatment, and wants to present himself as a guy who gets all this AND wins, rather than just a chump who is getting lavish treatment because he's dumping money.

For many -EV high rollers, being treated like a king is enough. For MDawg, it seems he also wants the forum gambling cred to go with it, and figures that posting evidence of big bets, big chips, and nice suites is somehow evidence that he's winning. Obviously only the most naive ploppy is gonna fall for that.
