Superbowl Weekend - Vegas

First, my brother and I are renting out our condo for 4 nights Fri-Tues. It is good money and will basically cover the condo association fees for the year. My brother will be staying with his GF, myself and BF staying at station property 10 miles off strip. Superbowl weekend is always a big deal in Vegas, and this year even more so with the Superbowl actually here. It is one of half dozen holiday and really big weekends in January through March. The weekends that I book a lot of play, which I intend to do this year as well.

Not really a fan of either team. Andy Reid was coach of the Eagles during my time in Philly, but I am over him and that. KC beating the Eagles in Superbowl last year pretty much ended me rooting for Andy Reid. And I am not crazy about the SF/Oakland area crowds that will be in town for the 49ers.

Not sure of what my betting angle will be yet, but I am sure I will have some money on the game. Chiefs have the QB I would want to bet, 49ers probably the better supporting cast. I read that the team that wears white Jerseys has won 16 of the last 19 Superbowls. Eagles wore Green last year and KC white. This year it is KC's option and they chose Red. interesting. They have won 2 Superbowls wearing white in this stretch and lost one wearing red. I guess they don't think much of that pattern.

That is about it for now. I hope Vegas puts on a good show and there are no bad incidents of any kind.

I could have had the Superbowl weekend comped but opted to pay for the room and save remaining comps for meals, this trip and future. Supposedly I am getting a good rate based on my association with Stations for many years, but it seems high to me. No matter really. It is all good.

It had been almost 6 years since my partner passed and that is basically when our/my VP play all but ended, and comps on my card have really dwindled. I have played some, nowhere near what I used to, but some on my Brothers card to keep comps available for him to use for some meals when he is out playing. He can afford to pay for his own meals but I like doing that. So I didn't want to use up those comps. Is that ok with you?

That your comps date from "years ago" and have dwindled down to just four free nights now due to no play for years now (come on nowwww....what nonsense, you'd have to play at MY levels to still have any comps years after the most recent play), or that you still play rated but just less than you used to (which of course, would contradict your whole "I never played rated" story).

It so happens it is neither of those properties. Just about all the station properties, including the new one Durango, a property I have come to like very much in it's short time in existence, are roughly 10 miles off strip with the exception of Palace station. Boulder might be 7, I don't know. Nor did I measure or ask google how far this one was. Saying 10 miles off strip was an approximation.

I hesitate to defend kewlJ when all it gets you is grief, but facts are facts. Any distance runner measures in terms of miles. The one thing kewlJ and I have in common is distance running.

It's the people who are dead-on familiar with locations who measure in terms of miles because it's a precise measurement. I never give "minutes" as an answer to a distance question. In fact sometimes I give driving directions by x hundreds of yards past this or that.

Yes, belly, I have comps on several different cards in several different people names. Most AP's do. This whole multicarding thing that Darkoz first mentioned and then Seedvalue showed up talking about is NOT new. Most AP's have been doing something along those lines even if at a much lower/smaller level.

Right now I have about $600 comps on my card. Last I looked, 17 or 18 hundo on my brothers. My mothers has dwindled all the way down to zero. And my late partners a very small amount, maybe a couple hundo. Of course I couldn't use my partners for this anyway as he isn't alive to show Id at check in. All I can do on his account is if I ever start playing machines again seriously, maybe get some mailers. If my mother ate at Stations, I would earn some pts and comp dollars for her to use but she doesn't, and if it she does eat at a Stations, I am with here. And I haven't even gotten a card there in my current BF name, because I am just about done doing anything with machines....at least for the moment.

So I could have used my brothers card and had him check us in, but decided not to. I want him to have that for meals if he wants. Is this fucking ok with you belly?
