Is there more than one outstanding?.....lol

Must be great to be anonymous and wrong. No penalties (that's a tax joke, bub).

Red's so worked up, about that tax bill with penalties, that he's gonna vote for Trump. Ha.

You know, it has occurred to me that something is missing from all of the "AP" snark and comments. Something basic and obvious. Max makes a couple of comments regarding one bill regarding one thing at one point in time, which evidently he looked up. But he skipped the obvious.

Now here is where we get into selective searching and reporting and all that. And what all of the "APs" on this forum-- through years and hundreds of posts -- haven't reported. In fact, there is something, with all the braggadocio, that has never even gotten a mention to my knowledge on this forum. Mickey, for example, claims to have a massive cash stash. Seedvalue is worth more than most Latin American countries (if you buy it). Maxpen pays all of his bills forthright, despite Prez Trump's fine examples. Rob has used bankruptcies to boost his inestimable personal fortune.

But this obvious standard metric, ubiquitous in U.S. society and business, goes not only unannounced on this forum by the "APs," but rarely if ever mentioned.

See if you can guess what it is. It's obvious, and it would tell you more about the bullshit level of the posters here than any other piece of information.

But in the 1970s, a professor of Psychology in Vancouver called Bruce Alexander noticed something odd about this experiment. The rat is put in the cage all alone. It has nothing to do but take the drugs. What would happen, he wondered, if we tried this differently? So Professor Alexander built Rat Park. It is a lush cage where the rats would have colored balls and the best rat-food and tunnels to scamper down and plenty of friends: everything a rat about town could want. What, Alexander wanted to know, will happen then?

In Rat Park, all the rats obviously tried both water bottles, because they didn't know what was in them. But what happened next was startling.

The rats with good lives didn't like the drugged water. They mostly shunned it, consuming less than a quarter of the drugs the isolated rats used. None of them died. While all the rats who were alone and unhappy became heavy users, none of the rats who had a happy environment did.

So Garnabby, the "fly in the ointment" is drugs, eh?

The test drew a correlation between drug use and happiness?

    Makes sense...to a point.

By that I mean it depends on what particular drug you take.

Me, I gave up alcohol last century and took up gambling instead.

But I've smoked pot since I was a teen, and it seems to me anyway that I've done so not because I was unhappy but because I like the buzz, the seeming enhancement of my senses.

But there are millions who try to numb themselves via hard drugs instead of enhancing their experiences.

Here's a poem written by a homeless fentanyl addict to illustrate the point:

    ""I NEVER...."
    BROUGHT INTO THIS WORLD,
    I WASN'T GIVEN A CHOICE,
I NEVER ASKED TO BE BORN,
I NEVER ASKED FOR A VOICE,
I NEVER ASKED FOR THIS LIFE,
    THAT YOU SO WILLINGLY GIVE,
    FUCK YOU MOM AND DAD.
    I NEVER WANTED TO LIVE.........."

What Huxley said on the subject is,

“Who lives longer? The man who takes heroin for two years and dies, or a man who lives on roast beef, water and potatoes 'till 95? One passes his 24 months in eternity. All the years of the beefeater are lived only in time.”

As far as the Presidential Election, the guy who predicted Trump's victory in 2016 (and his defeat in 2020), seems to be predicting a Biden win in 2024.

I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

If the two worlds could be kept apart, the one with the drugs would still be an endless cycle of less effect even the more drugs taken.

What gets me in the psychological result above is that the rats still "consumed less than a quarter of the drugs the isolated rats used". They must have sensed that they were still at least in a cage. So how to get rid of the cage, however?

Not everything in life is a game, and, so, even on the surface of things, then life, itself, isn't a game.

Eg, the poem above points to, as Aristotle put it, the "choice to choose", in that we may choose anything, but this. Same as death isn't something we choose, or not. Neither is a matter of choice, and, so, neither is a game. And, perhaps, the thus inherent symmetry, of the two, implies that even suicide has more to do with fate than choice, that we don't really choose anything at all.

    The premise:

"Put a rat in a cage, alone, with two water bottles. One is just water. The other is water laced with heroin or cocaine. Almost every time you run this experiment, the rat will become obsessed with the drugged water, and keep coming back for more and more, until it kills itself. Only one drug is so addictive, nine out of ten laboratory rats will use it. And use it. And use it. Until dead. It's called cocaine."

The swing states will decide the election and Trump is ahead in the polls in all 7 of them. Anywhere from 3 to 9 points. And this includes RFK in the race.

The MSM covers it up but there's a ton of dissatisfaction with Biden in the minority communites for his flooding them with illegals. Trump will set a record for most minority votes by a republican. Biden will not win the liberal states with the margins he did in 2020.

If a national poll is balanced correctly it has to take into account the highly populated states that have a super majority, like California and New York where two out of 3 voters vote democrat. So if Trump is polling at 50-50 nationally it's means he's way ahead in the electoral college.

Trump will also win the popular vote this time. Democrats and anti-Trumpers have families, they rent and/or try to buy where they live, they grocery shop, they buy fuel, they have energy bills, and they buy clothes. Everything is more expensive since Biden took over--many items significantly so. There's a whole lotta struggling going on.

This time around, many Dems won't vote if the choice is someone they hate just because he's a proven huge 4-year success---vs. a total doddling incompetent who's an embarrassment on the world stage.

Of course, we have anti-Trumpers like a handful of confused personnel here, who will vote for Biden regardless of how ridiculous that would be. It's irrelevant though; Trump should and will win in a landslide. Can't wait to watch the squirming and pain on MSNBC and CNN on election night!

I was going to simply suggest that, rather than guess who can afford to do what, and who pays what bills when (based on anonymous posting) everyone simply give Todd access to one of their credit reports.

In all the thousands of posts on this forum, I haven't heard a mention of credit report scores since Alan Mendelson owned the site. Since my name is real, anyone can look up my credit scores.

All the braggadocio from posters about them being able to spend this or that, and yet no mentions from any of these renowned and profitable "APs" about what their credit scores might be. And yet credit scores, in the US, are what you're judged by. They set the financial parameters of your life.

Anyone care to guess the credit scores of Axelwolf or mickey crimm or the inestimable account?

It would be a simple thing to corroborate some "AP" steak to go with the sizzle. Everybody send Todd a credit report. He then, while keeping anonymous folks anonymous, simply applies the credit scores to each poster as a tagline for each post. It would add a flavor to all of the posts, a little hint of credibility and all that.

LOL. So who's on board? Should I go first?

My credit score is just fine and in the 850s. I have had no need to use it but I financed my car at 2% because.. well it is 2%.

I'm not home but I got a fanny pack with 100k in it. I will take a pic of it.

I just bought a condo in a non cheap city... but you know how they judged me by my credit score? Want to guess? I'll let you figure it out.

    Hint: they didn't.

I've never bragged about my prowess as an AP. I'm small time rec.

Credit reports are so easily faked shy of having druff get the numbers directly.

Most.importanty though druff has far more important things like pick his nose.

My understanding is a lot of credit scores are due to borrowing and paying back. Im not sure how that is applicable to what you're trying to prove.
