The credit score means almost nothing if it is based on a single low point credit card and banks know this. A weak credit report with a high score might get an automated pre approval for…another credit card but a real credit report that includes lots of secured and unsecured credit paid on time or paid off going back years is what’s needed to have a high credit score that actually means something.

In other words some guy with a 725 credit score based on a couple of $5000 credit limit credit cards is better than the same guy who defaulted on his low limit credit cards but neither one has good credit compared to someone with a dozen high limit credit cards, some paid off leases and auto loans and a bunch of real estate loans paid off or paid on time even if the guy with actual credit has a lower score.

Also, the early 2000s are over and credit score alone won’t get you a real estate loan. More important is verifiable income.

Credit score is just the beginning of credit strength. Depth and level of credit round out the equation.

Secondly I logged into Experian and my credit score is 834. I thought it was a 900 scale and I had like 850 .. but no it is 850 scale. Experian says it is "exceptional".

The thing about "giving your credit report" is this stuff is all digital. Without some fancy crypto signature it is completely meaningless. Redietz knows I am a polymath. (he has said so before) I can take most webpages and easy modify the values via the DOM editor. This is why screenshots and such are near pointless. Video is much better because it is at least far more involved to fake.

This is silly. Showing a pic of "someone's" cash and claiming it to be yours is as empty as kew claiming to have shot a load into some black guy's ass. And to show how bothered you are about the real cash in my safe--that's really not all that much anyway, although it would be to the little people around here--along with proclaiming to have a high credit score (big whoop!) when my retirement account alone could buy out every self-proclaimed "AP" on this and likely other forums loaded with degenerate gamblers, means everything I've tried to achieve here has come to fruition....even if it's only via a lonely old loser like you.

My credit score has been the same for years. They won't raise it because I refuse to make installment payments. I pay my cards off every month no matter how big the purchase. When I make a big purchase I'll get emails and texts saying "take your time paying. No need for a payment this month." Shit like that. They're trying to soak me for interest. I'm like fuck you and pay the whole thing off. I can't remember ever paying any interest. The money they make off me comes from charging the seller.

Can't explain the difference in scores. It might be because of different updates:

Total available credit would be a better metric to use if you're trying to get info on someone. I'd imagine most people's scores are fairly good on this forum as most would have the wherewithal to not be a sucker.

Exactly.

Mine is over 800 at the moment, but more important is how much in unsecured and secured credit I have available. A high credit score just means that of the credit you have available you haven't pulled too much of it out, and have paid it as agreed.

So someone might have a couple low limit credit cards, not much other credit history, always pay those cards off and have a high credit score. Any bank looking at that would not consider that to be strong. In my case, I won't even hold onto a credit card or unsecured credit line with under a $50K limit because it looks weak. I have a lot of credit cards, stacks of them, but most I just sock drawer other than an occasional charge to keep them active.



On a given month if I owe $180,000. in charges my credit score will go down, until the next month when I pay it off. So all I have to do is buy a watch on a card to get the 2% cash rebate or whatever that particular card is giving me, and my credit score goes down. Until I pay it off.

On the BofA one I was short one month so I didn't pay it off in full and got nailed for finance charges on a small portion of it and a late fee, which they later waived.

Incidentally, that Citi Double Cash and the PayPal Synchrony Master Card that I have also are two of the best cash rebate cards out there.

The Citi one you get 1% when you charge, and 1% when you pay it off. The PayPal Synchrony Master Card 2% that goes to your PayPal account.

Turns out my credit score is likely considerably higher than redietz. I do have a business cc I churn 12-15k through a month. Not sure if that impacts me or not.

Panorama Towers is just a fairly common residence. At least our unit. There are some higher priced units in the millions of dollar range, but most are just typical middle class residences. It is more about location than anything else and that is something my brother wanted to experience. I had already done that at my first condo.

Prior to that we lived in a single family home in a (supposedly gated) modest middle class neighborhood. That you, a supposed millionaire many times over, is jealous of these modest living arraingements, is not only bizarre, but it only further makes one wonder about even that aspect of your "story" about your wealth.
