On that point I couldn't agree more. It seems being diligent or taking pride in one's work is more or less a thing of the past. People today are out to lunch whether at work, home or even driving.

For this reason we can be assured the Durango incident, and it's subsequently slow resolution, was most likely due to negligence and not any nefarious purpose.

There are some exceptions to the veil of indifference cloaking the work force.

Surgeons are top notch, as are many trial lawyers and CPA's.

The worker's in the Mexican Food cart we patronize are always hustling, efficient, cordial.

How sure are you about that? Ha.
Every one /everyone knows it all; yet, no thing /nothing is truly known by any one /anyone. Similarly, the suckers think that they win, but, the house always wins, unless to hand out an even worse beating.

You're a bit lagging. Trump is now listed as one of the 500 wealthiest people in the world at 6.5billion...and counting. His appellate victory for $175million is just the beginning of the downfall for that fatass spearchucker DA in NY. Watch MSNBC & CNN like I've been doing for enjoyment the past few days. The absolute dread and hopelessness on their ugly ass faces (compared to the unending beauty on Fox News of course) are just a magnificent precursor to what we'll be witnessing in early Nov.!

I just remembered a chip changing in Ely, Nevada. I was there in 2005/6 on a 10 cent spin poker full pay joker (100.65%) PLAY.

They had quad bonuses, drawings, and double royal promotions so I was holed up there for a year.

Gaming came in to test the chips. They ordered the chips in the spin poker machines to be changed for new ones. The only reason they gave was they were getting old.

It's been going on for years. Making money is routine. The debate over whether the casinos gaff machines can rage on. But's it the last thing on my mind.

Why would someone that's been showing a consistent profit for 2 and a half decades even think that the machines are gaffed?
I played a fuckton of VP in the '90s -2008 ish.

When I first started, I was keeping track of various hands such as 4 of a kinds, Royal scares/Royals, etc. Evrything seemed fairly accurate, heck, I was running over EV on 4 of a kinds. The numbers added up and it stopped keeping track of 4 of kinds and then eventually Royal Scares.

I know tons of people who played VP for hours a day, and some of those guys are still playing. I never heard anyone crying foul. I think if something is gaffed, it's an anomaly.

Give me a 3% + advantage on a .50+ denomination and I would be more than happy to play.

Would be awful hard to sell 90% of a company's stock without crashing it. For a company with revenue $5 million it sure is valued high for now. At least he could probably borrow against the stock like he does with most everything he owns.
FraudJ's word is worth less than the prop cash in Singer's safe...RIP

That's not including nearly 20k slots currently at restricted locations, but some of those existed in 2004 also.

Many of the slot casualties may have been video poker machines.

A few years ago, the industry tried skill-based slots to attract younger customers, but discovered millennials only want to play roulette. We may have covered this, but how do you explain the huge increase in baccarat tables? On one hand, it's a stupid game, but on the other hand it can be a good value on a house edge basis.

When i first got involved in the early 90's video poker was 2/3's of the machines on the floor. It hasn't been like that in quite some time.
