Thread: Have Slot payouts gone down drastically in recent/current years? :/

  1. #1
I remember a woman saying something like,"In around 2010, a $20 playing Slots in a Casino would net me and my husband dinner for both of us at a fine dining restaurant, two adult tickets at night, two large Cokes, and two large popcorns at a movie theater. Nowadays, a $20 is completely gone in about two minutes! What the FUCK?

I wasn't playing Slots in 2010, so I can't agree or disagree with what the woman said about playing $20 on Slots netting a LOT of money and nowadays, a $20 being gone in about two minutes. Do you guys agree with the woman's sentiments?

Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanantly banned.

In general terms, yes slot returns have gone down in recent years.

Some of the reasons for this are the popularity of penny slots which have the worst payback of all denominations.

New slot machines are much more expensive & complex than they used to be in the past so they return less to pay for them.

Rather than have higher payback, many casinos put the money into free play incentives & other promotions much more aggressively than they have in the past.

I just did some calculations and the woman is basically saying she got around $280 on a $20 bankroll($200 dinner for two Adults, $40 in movie tickets for two adults, $14 for two large popcorns, and $14 for two large Cokes). Have you personally gotten around $280 on a single $20 Bankroll?

So which do you think is more likely?

    1. The casino used to give $280 back for $20.

    Or

    2. The lady ran lucky to win $280 off of $20.

I love the use of bankroll. I guess these people like it too as it lets themselves think of themselves in the same way a pro gambler might.
Deep down inside Redietz is probably an ok guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. 5/16/24 he left us. Remember.

Not really. I only started ONE completely STUPID thread, one that I even acknowledged was STUPID the very next day. It was like a fart, stinks really bad for a short while and then is quickly forgotten about.

    T. you know I'm your friend, but half of your new thread posts could have been just posts you stuck into existing threads. In other words, if you cut down the number of your new threads by 50% you'd still have plenty to say without being so redundant.
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.
