My Friend KNEW I NEEDED the money to avoid eviction and didn't actually want to sell my Family Heirlooms. My half of the check was enough to make my rent. My Friend got the check before I even got a chance to see it and he cashed it and went to Foxwoods Casino and gambled away every single dollar, knowing I NEEDED the money. So he lost his half of the money, and my half of the money. So, I got evicted, the very thing I was trying to prevent and I have no Family Heirlooms anymore. All because my Friend stole all the money when we were supposed to split the money. I won't be pressing charges, but I will NEVER do business with my Friend again.

I, Tasha posted the above anecdote and said something like,"How SELFISH do you have to be to steal money from your Friend who you KNEW needed the money and then go blow it away at Foxwoods Casino? Poor guy, in more ways than one. I feel so sorry for him!

The UNKewl one was a liar, and like most liars, he was constantly changing his stories, altering time and personnel from one telling to the next. One time he would tell a story about someone, next time he would switch the story around to give himself the lead. While he was evicted & living on the street penniless & with no family heirlooms left to sell, I’m sure he could have panhandled enough money to hire attorneys & / or pay court filing fees to go after his also penniless friend.

Unless of course he was too distracted by things like eating or surviving on the streets.

If he paid his friend 50% of the proceeds to sell his only remaining assets, & didn’t insist on getting the money up front he’s probably not the sharpest tool in the shed, assuming this story has any basis in reality or if what the friend really stole was a 2X comp multiplier.

To be fair, a LOT of Lawyers do pro bono where the wronged person doesn't pay any money. In Set It Off, Stony's younger brother is shot and killed by the police because he had been framed as one of the Robbers in a recent Bank Robbery(Lorenzo had his Sister cut AP into Stevie's head, AP(Acorn Projects) was a telltale sign of the Robbers and the Cops thought that literally poor Stevie was one of the Bank Robbers and shot him and he died.

The Police didn't even take a good look at his FACE before shooting him up and killing him. Only AFTER they shoot him up does the lead Police Officer look at his FACE and realize they shot up an innocent young man who wasn't one of the Bank Robbers.

Stony decides to go do Bank Robberies herself along with her three Friends, wanting money to move out of the Neighborhood where her Brother was suddenly killed by Cops. Posters asked something like,"Why didn't Stony just sue the Police for wrongful killing? Stevie was innocent." Posters replied something like,"Stony was poor. She needed big money to sue the Police for wrongful killing." The response was something like,"Pro Bono Lawyers would have taken Stony's case for FREE.
