Why do food service companies insist we should have sweet relish and sweet pickles when grocery stores are mostly filled with dill relish and dill pickles?

I must say after introspection my premise is off. Although there may be some sweet pickles at a banquet, sweet relish everywhere for hot dogs(which is infuriating), there are dill pickle slices on almost every burger of almost minimal quality, so there is a majority of dill offered.
