Not only are there millions in this country that fear another Trump presidency, but millions more around the world fearful of a world where the U.S. pulls out if NATO, or Trump allows Putin to take Ukraine and whatever other countries he wants. I am glad the bald guy, who isn't as tall without his lifts, Trump is ok and wasn't killed. But this is ALL on him. The current political environment is on him. He rose to prominence politically by stoking the fears of an angry segment of the population. While politics has always be rough and tumble, Trump has demonized both his opponents and the media, like no one before him.

I saw Frank Lutz, who is a republican pollster who mostly appears on Fox News, or did until a couple years ago, on CNN this morning saying how he has feared for journalists covering Trump's rallies for year. Demonization is the basis of Trump. He tells these cult followers exactly what they want to hear and who to direct their anger at.

So it is no surprise this has come home to roost.

It is funny that last year when Paul Polosi, who isn't even a politician but spouse of one, was attacked and brutally beaten to within an inch of his death, by a MAGA supporting nutjob, the right distanced themself from that. But now some other, likely unstable kid, who is registered republican no less, commits some heinous act, it is the democrats or liberals' fault.

Give me a fucking break. It is only one side that talks about taking up arms and fighting a civil war.

I've come to the conclusion we just might as well stay quiet because nobody cares unless you have a lot of power and money. You'll normally get the same as a replacement in our country, but let's face it, Trump is irreplaceable whether loved or hated. Trump's weakness is inability to be swayed otherwise. KJ really swayed me mentioning the Ukraine, I feel Russia has no business annexing any part of any country and I wouldn't want to give up on Ukraine any more than I would like us taking over Mexico permanently by force. Certainly a drone or two circling would have spotted the shooter earlier. Could have even taken him out.

They do have drones, but drones with explosives attached are also used for assassinations so they also have counter drone technology.

Probably have to strike a balance between using drones for surveillance, but also having the airspace clear so they can take out hostile drones.
