Lots of reports. Mainly, his being a lousy shot was three years ago (or more). A lot can change in three years. Or, conversely, even if he is a lousy shot, give him a shot even he should make more often than not. And back him up. Some folks question the fact it was locals who rattled him and forced a too-quick trigger pull. Feds were curiously absent from that space. Who knows what happens if he isn't hurried by non-Feds identifying his location. Many theories out there. I'm not an advocate of the water tower idea. I don't buy the video "evidence," and the acoustic evidence suggests that if there was a second (and third) shooter, those shots had to come from a similar distance and direction.

Something that I have not read anywhere else, that has been my theory since day one, is that he came prior to the event and hid the gun. I see 3 excellent spots. The best spot was the rain gutter. Cover it was some leafs and it blends right in. The second spot were the tall, slender, dense trees right next to the building. Third, if you watched the body cam video of the police on the roof, there is a "bridge" like structure between the buildings that the agents walked across. Down in that area there were several areas it could be hidden.
He did fly a drone over the AGR building several hours before the rally. There are probably several reasons as to why he did this, one being to see if the weapon was still there.
I heard a few days ago, that his gun had a collapsible stock, which would had made the gun shorter. It's still a possibility that he was able to conceal it enough to where it was unnoticed.. He could had rode his bike all the way around to the front of the AGR building, and "dropped off" the gun by the AC unit he climbed up, then snooped around for the time they saw him without the gun.
If this was any type of professional operation he would have used a "foldable" AR, that would easily fit in a backpack unnoticed.
There was a lot that had to go right for him to pull this off. Like you mentioned in your article, many people are saying there are to many coincidences. I truly believe these "lapses or holes" in security have been there, just no one was crazy enough to exploit them. No one has shot at a president in over 40 years (Since Reagan). I don't believe this was due to lack of opportunities. I can theorize many ways, but I don't want a visit from the Secret Service lol.
Leaving the roof unmanned was the most incredible of them all. I have a feeling the report of the local cop that was supposed to be manning the roof and came down because he was hot, may end up being true.
Remember, anyone can kill the President, You just have to be willing to trade your life to do so.
I believe this kid is the "typical" school shooter type, doing this for fame. I personally don't believe it was political.
