Well, TopBet's NFL no-spread contest, which I won versus 800 or thereabouts two years ago, has been discontinued. Damned shame.
Northbet, which I finished third in last year, banned me from winning any prize money going forward. But I entered their LMS this year anyway, just to see what happens. I'm also prize-money-banned from their college ATS contest and their NFL no spread contest, which has weighted values assigned to each team based on moneylines.
Heritage, which I won a few years back versus roughly a thousand entrants, features no-spread selections of all NFL games and also the totals of the high-profile games. They also have a Survivor Contest. They are nice enough to still allow me to compete for money.
I'd like to say I'm proud to be banned, but I'm really not. I think it's silly to ban me from NFL contests. I hardly bet anything at all on the NFL. It might be 10% of my overall wagering volume. And I don't really straight-bet sports other than football.
I'll update my standings in Heritage every few weeks. After Week One, I'm sitting roughly 40th out of a thousand or so. I survived to Week Two in the LMS, which is something because 45% of the entries were knocked out.
