As far as Harvey's Lake Tahoe, here are couple of their suites we have stayed in recently.

Thanks for the pix but casinos don't give me free suites: what are the "normal" rooms like at Tahoe?
Hopefully clean and a bit updated?
Frankly the notion of staying in a suite for a short stay seems like overkill, given the fact I rarely spend time in my room other than for sleeping and bathing, but to each his own.
I gamble without my wife: she tolerates my gambling but avoids it for herself; why would I need a huge suite for a solo trip?
Why would ANYONE need one?
Oh sure...status, cachet, get one up on the Joneses: but otherwise it makes little sense, "satisfying" a non-existent need.
What, Me Worry?
Harvey's is the nicest casino in south Lake Tahoe currently, because it is recently remodeled (during pandemic). Harrah's is dated.
Also, Harvey's is direct lakefront, while Harrah's is across the street (across Hwy 50).
Harvey's is apparently about to do more remodeling:
https://www.tahoedailytribune.com/ne...lion-makeover/
going through 2025 or 2026, with the two year project being the most extensive overhaul in the resort’s 80-year history. At the end of the remodel, the 1.6 million square foot Harvey's will be completely new.
Neither Harvey's or Harrah's though as far as amenities and over all "class" is what it used to be in the heyday of south Lake Tahoe in the 90s and early 2000s, before the Indian casinos took away too much business from Tahoe. For example, Harvey's no longer has china and flatware room service - just food ordered via the Caesars app and delivered in a bag (not worth it, food sometimes arrives cold).
The standard rooms at Harvey's are not bad at all. 525 square feet, in the Lake Tower (avoid the old Mountain Tower). Ideally, get a direct lake view.
You mentioned ski packages - no, not really. Years ago when it existed Caesars Tahoe had this ski package for high rollers where they actually gave us free high end skis of our choice, and there used to be ways to get ski lift tickets for less via the Tahoe casinos, but I haven't even bothered to get any that way in recent trips.
Heavenly Ski resort is walking distance from Harvey's, I do it even with my ski boots on carrying my skis I walk to the gondola and then right up the mountain, and take the gondola back down that Nevada side, or ski down the California face and take some kind of transport from CA side to Harvey's (there is nowadays a Lake Link app that provides free transport all over south Lake Tahoe).
There is this lady who is a local who stands in front of the Heavenly gondola many mornings during ski season selling tickets for less, bought them via some package or some such, and then sells them at a slight profit. I should get her number, but generally I plan ahead and buy them via a package myself so don't need her.

Thanks.
Yeah, I guess that area is in decline.
The only time I vistited Tahoe was during the last century, before I became hooked on gambling: stayed at the Hyatt in Incline Village: nice place in a funky little area.
I recall "back in the day," before triabal casinos were everywhere and Nevada was the only gambling venue for we Portlanders, my legal secretary and her husband made trips to Reno, both to gamble and for Hot August Nights.
Apparently it was quite the place ..."back in the day"... but by report today the old gal is withering on the vine due to competition and benign neglect.
What, Me Worry?
Have stayed at Hyatt Incline Village quite a while back, it was nice I was barely gambling age then. The table game limit was $2000. at that time end of the 90s, when at the same time the limits at Harrah's/Harvey's were $5000.
Driving around the lake and Incline Village these days, definitely some "decay" issues. I did notice that the old Cal Neva is going to be remade into something new, some sort of hotel villas project.
V, other than the fact that you have to fly into Reno, because the small Tahoe airport has been closed to commercial flights since the late 90s, then endure an hour or more drive to south Lake Tahoe, Harvey's is worth a try versus those more local Indian casinos you are frequenting.

I concur, it should be a nice change of pace...I think I'll try it.
Never drove to South Lake Tahoe so it'll be a new experience...hopefully more interesting than Laughlin.
*memo to the hound: Yes, I give you a lot of shit but it's all in service of keeping myself mentally stimulated by playing off on your and Robert's hubris-fueled posts. Yes, it's your shtick and I give you props for it, but just realize with me it's all just a game: "It don't mean nothin;". Were we to actually meet I suspect we'd have a pleasant, drama-free conversation.
What, Me Worry?
Our family used to drive from southern Cal to south Lake Tahoe, but these days with just two of us flying wife and I flying we just fly.
I do admit that south Lake Tahoe casinos have become more of an * asterisk to Vegas, whereas in the late 90s and even very early 2000s SLT was still a destination of choice in its own right.
But that new $160M remodel at Harvey's may put it back on the map.
And the lake is as beautiful as ever.

How about the half Chinese how do they do in the water? At least you don't have to worry about that big dick you're always boasting about creating any water resistance, because it's not there.
And when are you going to come clean and admit your ADHD diagnosis and hyperactivity as a child. Come on there is no way someone like you constantly fidgety, always moving, always interrupting people, poor listener, incapable of reading entire sentences let alone paragraphs without losing focus, could possibly not be ADHD.
