Thread: Bizarre! I have 15k tier credits at Caesars, it shows me as Gold level

  1. #1
    Here's the story:

I was Diamond last year via a status match (Wyndham). I did not earn enough tiers in 2024 to qualify for anything but Gold (bottom tier) in 2025.

However, in January 2025, I earned over 15k tier credits through casino play. This should have made me Diamond for all of 2025 and 2026.

Instead, it shows me as Gold, with "-10,030 tier credits" to get to Platinum! What?!?!

Screen shot below (the black box is my rewards # I blacked out)

Maybe they had to back out some of your tier credits to compensate for the profit they lost when they sold you an already made pizza that was supposed to be for slices for others at the whole pizza price & not the per slice price & then lost all that business to other customers who wanted a slice but came right after you & couldn’t wait for a new one to be made?

Actually Caesars can have a lot of lag between when you play & when the credits show up, so especially if you earned them at the end of January & especially if you did them on a tier multiplier day it’s possible they will show up later.

Dan, did you opted in at the kiosk? My 10x showed up last Tuesday. My drinks showed up last night.
Keep your friends close, keep your drinks closer...

    My tier credits are fine.

My status is not. I have 15k tiers and am Gold!

Caesars email support solved it for me:

    Hello Todd,

Thank you for contacting Caesars Entertainment!

We appreciate your interest in your account. During Tier renewal there are times where the system is delayed in updating accounts. To better assist, I have upgraded your account to the proper Tier. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused. If we can be of further assistance, please let us know.

Thank you for being a valued Diamond member!

    Have an amazing day!

Pretty ridiculous that this didn't automatically resolve by February 4. It's been 3 full days.

I gave them leeway on Feb 1 because it was the first day of the "new" Caesars year, but for this to persist for awhile is a joke.

My assumption is that this only affected Caesars accounts which earned a higher status by tiers in 2025 than had been achieved through tiers in 2024.

Another glitch was that when I made my wife my companion for Seven Stars, they gave her a companion Seven Stars card but left her status as mere Gold. It was only after she used the car at the valet that we realized this, and I had to go to the Rewards desk to get it straightened out.

BTW to add a companion she has to appear in person with you once a year at the Rewards desk.
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

I think that since Caesars very generously returns 85% of all the money that is cycled through their slot machines to the players, this leaves them a little bit short for things like system maintenance, property maintenance, etc.

I was thinking the same thing. But remember, some players are easily impressed/motivated by the colorful array of slot club cards they carry around---surpassed only by their collection of ATM-ready cards, which often require 3 or 4 different tries before getting one to work as intended.

    Only at CET.....

To expand on what Rob just said, why is CET biased against the color blind? If you can't appreciate the full import of improved status with different colored cards, shouldn't you be compensated for the damage to your self-image, self-respect, and the inability to fully experience the wanton jealousy of others when they see your card as compared to theirs? The color-blind receive none of these perks. Surely they should be compensated in some way, like maybe a free spa visit or an extra fancy in-room espresso machine. Which leads to...

What about the blind? What good are color coded cards for the blind? What good does the status of a different color card do for the legally blind? Surely CET could come up with something as a substitute for a color-coded card. I humbly suggest a giant card that could fit on a neck chain, kind of like Flavor Flav's clocks. Something that screams, "I am somebody, and here's my color, and even though I'm blind, I can feel my status whenever I want!" The bigger the bettor, the bigger the card.

Size matters! (I thought Singer might agree with that sentiment)

They even changed the color/look of the Seven Stars card!

It is presently this ugly thing, which reminds me of a Target Red Card:

When I first got one in 2012, it was a cool looking silver one with a hologram looking reflection in the light. I'm not easily excited, but it felt good to get this sweet thing and hold it:

Do you like any of the other players club card designs? Most of them are fun-free especially at the top tier, like the designers started at the bottom and ran out of ideas.

I like Rampart. Good color palette, and innovative portrait orientation:

When I had status there, they printed me a bottom-level card for routine use. The status-level card was only to be whipped out in justifiable circumstances.

I feel like I'm at the doctor's office providing proof of insurance.

At Caesars, the worker drones complain that they can't read the black print against the red background. That's my cue to establish camaraderie with a joke. I tell them I'm blind in one eye, and can't see out of the other .
    Finish what you

Dan, you posted Ben's Player's Club card Account number to the world. You might want to block out his Account number.
Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanently banned.

I don’t think it is the person you are thinking of. With a different last name and the expiration date 10 years ago.

I'll admit I had the same thought as Tasha but luckily my 15 extra IQ points powered me through.

But don't Player's Club card Accounts NOT expire? Even if the card expired, the Account numbers don't expire, meaning that Dan showed an ACTIVE Player's Club card Account to the world.

I too initially had the same thought as Tasha for a brief moment until I saw the last name and X date.

Yes Tasha the cards don’t expire but the 2015 expiration date is a clue that Dan’s son would have been well under 21 at the time that card was printed 10 years ago, along with the different last name.

Plus Ben is a fairly common name. Although nowadays people name their male kids Tristan and stuff like that.

Its not like a credit card number, People can’t do too much with only a players card number & no card.
