I see no fun being poked at Mrs. arc, Alan. It's directed at him because, if Rob's correct in his assessment, he's the reason for her having to suffer so much unnecessarily. In this respect I believe him. For example, if you were home-bound, would you like it if your long time spouse went out and about playing games all the time? It's like he doesn't care any more and that's inconceivable to me too. But I've known a lot of his angry types in my life, and all they care about is ignoring family and they have and show absolutely no emotion no matter what happens. You can actually see that here with arc, with how this site and all the forums are more important to him than anything else going on. That makes little sense, but it is typical. I don't condone even mentioning ailments of anyone here unless they do it, but lots of this has gotten really out of hand.

I'm not going to debate with you what caused her kidney failure but when I was on dialysis for four hours a night, three times a week, I didn't expect anyone to sit there with me. And the day following dialysis when I was too weak to get out of bed, I didn't expect anyone to sit there with me.

I still continued to work and produce and host my TV shows while on dialysis, but it was very difficult. I could only work on the days before my evening sessions. The day following my dialysis session I was too weak to get out of bed.

There are some dialysis patients who can have a normal lifestyle without the "down time" I had to have. Some people just have a harder time with it. For some reason it just knocked me out. And that had a big impact on everyone including my family, my company, my advertisers.

It just saddens me that you would use this hardship as a taunt.

I really do not like the making fun of diseases part, and because my folks are in wheelchairs I'm not without sympathy for your wife. It goes with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). People who would make such a comments, like jatki Harry, have no real social feelings. This is well known by psychologists and you can see all the symptoms listed under NPD if you look it up.

It definitely doesn't sound like fun Alan. I think some of what jatki said rings true here though because it's almost exactly what I've said in the past. Arci brings this stuff on himself. He thinks that namecalling goes without consequences. He's also shown that nothing is out of bounds with him. Translation: he asks for and gets what he deserves.

I suppose. But I wouldn't be saying that with a high degree of certainty either. Who knows what's true with either of these two, and who cares anyway? Truthfully, it looks like arc takes this crap a lot more seriously than Rob does. That's why he calls people names, uses vulger words, and Rob doesn't.

Cutting and pasting some harsh Rob words is what arc seemed to need after his pointless attacks on me. Who says it better than Singer when it comes to arc? But if you're asking, I think I made it clear that I have a lot more sympathy than Rob seems to. But I don't completely fault him either.
