New New York New York pool area

As most of you might know, the pool area at NYNY was nothing to write home about. It was average or even below average for Vegas standards. In recent months NYNY has invested in "spicing up" there pool area. Has any of you already seen the new pool area? Does anybody have pictures ore experiences they could share? I regularly get very good offers from NYNY but have never used them because I love spending my day at the pool and their pool wouldn't exactly be a reason for me to stay there. Has it changed for the better?

I just wonder how much they could "spice it up?" It is small. It is under the roller coaster. There is too much shade from the building. I remember not even a lot of patio space. I think the pool at NYNY was an after-thought.

I guess if you are in a cabana you won't notice the shade over the pool area??

I guess you're right Alan. That might actually explain why you can hardly find any pictures of the pool area on their website. I don't like constant shade at a pool area. I guess I'll have to take one of their offers during the november-february period.
