Has anyone actually played the new "Shoot to Win" craps machines? I've seen them in various casinos but to be honest never played. I looked at some of the videos on Youtube and it appears that the machine has a "pre roll" where the dice are bounced around in a "dome" and they will rotate and roll to some degree, and then the player at the machine who is designated as the "shooter" presses the button that launches a big bounce with the dice jumping into the air.

Several things make the machine to appear to be random including the bouncing during the pre-roll and then the shooter launching the dice for the big bounce when the shooter presses the "button."

I am curious if anyone has ever charted the results of the game, or has examined if the result of the previous "roll" has any influence on the next result?

I doubt they do, but I am curious if anyone has actually examined this or made any other tests for a normal distribution?

One thing I have been told is that the machine does pay true odds and make true payoffs down to the penny, which is something that can't be done at casinos because most of them use dollars as the smallest chip, though there are some places that do make pays with actual quarters (25-cent pieces).
