Thread: The "luck factor" in dice "control."

  1. #21
Apparently there is software called SmartCraps (its availability to the public is not mentioned; I suspect it is safely secured in an Arizona storage shed) which measures your "axis control", and coupled with an SRR over 1:6, you can be on Easy Street.

Here is the specific link to Scoblete's article: Can Dice Control Be Proven? http://scoblete.casinocitytimes.com/...e-proven-61428

I read the article. He is trying to sell some record-keeping tool that will tell you if your dice stay on axis using a particular "set." Unfortunately keeping dice "on axis" is only part of "dice control."

in theory, dice control is possible. I have never met anyone or seen anyone or even saw the reports of anyone who actually can control dice or influence dice to the point that you can say "it really works."

it's a good idea, it's possible, it's just that I haven't met or heard of or seen the person who can really do it.

I don't doubt that it is possible, however. Basic physics tell you it is possible. But "doing it" is the question.
