Special dates coming up for casino action.

November and December are loaded with special "dates" for casino craps action, just in case you are superstitious or believe that there are lucky days to play.

For example, November:

November 2 11-2 that's half the horn in craps
November 3 11-3 also half the horn in craps
November 7 11-7 natural pass line winners on the come-out
November 11 11-11 natural winner for the come and come-out and a horn number
November 12 11-12 also half the horn in craps, and the two highest numbers in craps

On November 15, 11-15 bet the Yo (11) because it pays 15 to 1.

And the "field numbers" for November are:
11-2, 11-3, 11-4, 11-9, 11-10, 11-11 and 11-12.

And December is really great for craps players when you add 12 for the year, for example 12-12-12. More on that below. But first these other dates for December:

Make the world (whirl) bet on December 2, 3, 7, 11 and you have these dates: 12-2-12, 12-3-12, 12-7-12, 12-11-12

And go straight up on boxcars on December 12 for 12-12-12 and wouldn't you just love to see what happens with the throws at 12:12 AM and 12:12 PM ??

12-30 is a good date because at most casinos boxcars pays 30 to one. And at some the pay is 31 for one so make the bet on 12-31.

Don't forget the dates for horn bets: 12-2, 12-3, 12-11 and 12-12 of course.

December 2, 12-2 is the high and low bet in craps.

12-2, 12-3, 12-4, 12-9, 12-10, 12-11, and 12-12 are all of the "field numbers."

Now, if I haven't lost you yet, December 1 is 12-1-12 and the digits add up to 7 which is a natural.

I'm not much of a blackjack player but the "21" dates at 11-10 and 12-9.

Roulette players might want to play 11 and 12.

But just remember, 12-21 is the day the world is supposed to end, so it's probably a great day to take out a marker if you really believe that will happen.

I just realized that November 23, 2012 is 11/23/12 which comprises all of the numbers in the horn: 11, 2, 3, and 12. I guess that makes November 23rd the horn date of the year.

The next few dates are the big "field dates" for craps players culminating in the king of field dates 12/12/12.

If you want to play the field, and are superstitious about the calendar... these are you days: 12/9/12, 12/10/12, 12/11/12 and the king of field days 12/12/12.

I could easily drive up that morning, and be there around noon but so far no one has responded on WOV to the idea of a meet-up in Vegas to play craps.

Well, 12-12-12 could certainly through at card craps too.

Funny, I actually had a dream about this last night. This was the dream:

I was shooting and after establishing the point, I had $1 on the 12, it hit and I parlayed. It hit again, and I parlayed. It hit a third time and the dealer asked if I wanted to parlay it again and I said "no, that's 12-12-12, take it down."

On the next throw I made my point. New come out roll, point established. Then put $1 on 12, and the same thing happened: hit parlay, hit parlay, hit and took it down, then made the point.

Alarm goes off. Nice dream.

for those not familiar, $1 on 12 when it hits pays $30 for one or $31, parlay and it hits you have $961, and if it hits again its $28,870... though different casinos pay the 30x differently. Maximum bet on the 12 also varies by casino. Many limit the 12 to only $500, or $1000. Some of the Indian casinos limit it to $100.
