Thread: Where have we seen this before?

"I am a stick in the mud when it comes to gambling. I always advocate the best bets against the lowest house edges. But with this column I am going to put myself in the “wild and crazy guru” category and offer you a strategy that has never before been revealed.

This strategy is so radical that I must in good conscience make the following warning: You can’t win with it in the long run. This is not an advantage-play strategy. It is based strictly on luck. It requires you to keep a level head. But, warning aside, it will be one heck of a fun ride. I call this strategy the “20 + 20.”

I got a better system---stay home and watch 20-20 on TV. You won't lose a cent.

Wow. That is amazing. Now, I wonder what Rob Singer thinks about this, and I wonder what Frank Scoblete thinks about Rob's SPS?

Vegas_Vic, I changed the link in your original post so that it goes directly to the article. The link you gave goes to the general website where the article currently appears as the first article. Thank you for posting it.

It looks stupid because he quickly made the "system" up and it looks it. Plus he stated it's a long term loser, but he did nothing to identify how short term sessions (ie, how we ALL play) differ from this apparent long term automatic losing.

I feel silly now that I posted "Church of the Math". I can see that from now on it's gonna be a field day for inflammatory posts meant to ridicule. I was only trying to show a counterpoint. I see why Rob says the things he does, now. It's my fault, though. After another poster said something ridiculing me, I said I wouldn't post again. Shows what happens when you don't do what you say you're gonna do.

Don't think anything of it sling. Arci's quit more times than Jean Scott's had a face lift
