BUT it is NOT irrelevant to everyone on these forums. Back in Dawgs early years at WoV, there was a member, I forget the handle, but he worked in a casino in the middle of the country, that tried to emulate Dawg and his baccarat claims. He told us he was trying to emulate Dawg. He was nuked from the forum so we don't ultimately know how he made out, but chances are not very good. I hope he didn't lose too much money he couldn't afford.

And then the was one of the dawg claims that infuriated me the most. That Cosmo, one of the sweatiest casinos on the strip and a big contributor to the data bases, allowed Dawg to spread 1-50 at their double deck game for 10 straight hours, while he won 60K. I can almost guarantee you that someone (probably multiple players) read that, and at some point headed to Cosmo, where they were quickly, within minutes 86ed and probably databased.

While no money is changing hands (that we know of), this kind of thing makes Dawg JUST as dangerous as the barkers on youtube that mislead players into losing money with their bullshit claims. And that is why, I feel like it is not just our right, but almost the duty of real advantage players, and just people that understand the math and casino industry to call out this kind of bullshit.

I can't protect everyone, but when I see someone doing this, I will always say, "nope, that is bullshit".

If you go back and read the early days and pages of Dawgs thread over at WoV, you will see he was reporting winning days of a few thousand dollars. And he probably was playing amounts that would result in that. Of course he was leaving out losing days and sessions and only reporting winning days and sessions, just as everyone including Dan Druff figured out.

And as time has gone on, his claims have escalated and escalated. That is what these people seeking and needing attention do. Escalate! reporting larger and larger amounts. Dawg has done it. Singer has done it.

I posted a running total of the numbers Dawg reported back in January of this year where he claimed to have won over a million dollars in a month. The daily amounts were 40k, 60k, 115k as opposed to the 4 and 5 thousand at the start. Escalation!

And just look at what he has posted and claimed in the last 3 days. $660 thousand dollars won over a few weeks. And yesterday over a quarter million dollars won on a single hand. Escalation! And all the while he is playing rated, getting comps and casinos not only allow him to do so with no counter-measures, but now are "wildly cheering him on".

Yeah, some might find it humorous. It is also wildly dangerous and should be called out.

If the guy wants to write a fantasy-fiction story, then write a fantasy-fiction story. BUT don't try to pass it off as how gambling and casinos really work!

Is he a successful attorney? Who the fuck knows. Not one of his claims that I even really care about. He certainly does know a lot about different areas of the law. These days someone can read up on that on the internet if they desire. But I suspect he went to law school. (IIRC it was an online Law School), has a law degree and license. Maybe worked as an attorney at times. But now he is either always in Vegas gambling (losing in exchange for over-valued comps) or traveling somewhere, or so he claims, so I don't see how he can be a practicing attorney currently...even with stuff you can do by remote. But again, don't much care either way.
