The local coverage is the thing that I wanted to avoid. It lists my name. It is the sole reason, I deflected away with the lawsuit story. You think I am going to link to that? Stop this shit!

BTW, last I checked the link was no longer available. And I hope still not available. BUT that link did not show the backroom part of the story anyway. It showed what happened on the casino floor. The did mention the backroom and what happened but the video was of them taking me off the casino floor.

But that video did not come from our side. Again, that coverage is what I wanted to avoid.

So the other possibilities are that somebody in the casino shot some cell phone video while it occurred. It didn't look like cell phone video, but there is better quality cell phone video now a days.....maybe it was.

But my own theory, and this is just speculation on my part is that it came from the casino end. Not someone in management or that was involved, but some employee that had access that said "man this isn't right". That kind of thing.

And literally nobody anywhere online has seen it or commented on it or left any record of it, from when the incident occurred to now.

You can NOT forcibly take someone off the casino floor for card counting, which isn't a crime. You can read them the trespass act and send them to the door or back them off more politely, but the days of forcibly taking someone to the backroom for card counting are gone. It is illegal detaining or imprisonment. So the video on the casino floor actually shows the wrong doing before you even get into what occurred in the backroom.

In looking threw the original backroom thread, I found this humorous clip from Tableplay. Of course it is from a movie and only Mdawg think movie shit is real. But still funny as hell.

The thing is, it all could have easily been avoided:

Tableplay, I have had a couple incidents, along the lines of this clip over the years. Nowhere near as dramatic, but incidents where I saw the heat coming and exited the table before they got there, and weaved my way toward an exit. Again, nowhere near as dramatic and suspenseful as this clip.

In this particular case, I failed to see any issue coming until it was there, so that was on me. I just wasn't as attentive as I used to be. But you are correct, it could have been and should have been avoided.

So I am not familiar with this movie. I will have to look it up. Is Nicholas Cage a card counter/advantage player? Or was it something more like cheating?
