Forums provide easy access to anyone with an axe to grind, a story to share, or in Rob's case a fantasy to pursue.

Seems to me he's a smart guy but hung up on trying to make himself look powerful, significant, a man in a man's world.

But the thing you must remember, at least the way I see it, is that he relishes the feedback, the attention.

I knew a lawyer who said "There is no such thing as bad publcity for an attorney;" perhaps the same holds true here, where "there is no such thing as bad publicity for an attention seeking forum member."
