In short, I'm probably the most hated casino forum participant because when a so-called AP says "I win" I say "prove it."
But I was not including proven ways to play with an advantage such as card counting or even edge sorting or even hole carding (see that jbjb?) and wheel clocking.

I was talking about the "far out claims" that get a pass... like counting two or three tables (sorry kewlj) and using a team with other people's cards and milking the casinos $20,000 a week without having to play more than that to keep the free play streaming in.

So yes there are legitimate methods to win.

I've never doubted traditional card counting. I was even at a casino for a demonstration of how a roulette dealer could target a group of four slots.

I personally have the illegal skill of dice sliding but I've used it only for demonstration purposes.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mdawg can edge sort.

    I know hole carding happens.

But what I object to is every Tom, Dick and Harry who joins a forum and starts his first post with "I'm an advantage player..." and then asks a question typical of a first time gambler.

And I will always be suspect of those who claim to be money making APs who say how they win is a secret.

    Yeah. Big secret.

    That includes Double Up Bugs.
Fair points, but have you considered this?

Everyone that shows up on an anonymous gambling forum is not necessarily a profitable AP even if they claim to be.

In every business or career there are below average performers, average performers, and top performers.

Take car sales as an example. A very high turnover job. Most people washout after a few months. The average performers probably make around what any average job pays. Then you have a small number of top performers who are very skilled and talented and willing to work very hard and can earn an excellent income.

If you see a Car sales job or any commission only sales job ad the ad will be written like anyone could come in & earn those high incomes. Can they? No. Only a small number of people who are skilled, talented & have the work ethic will be able to do that.

Does it mean its not possible for anyone to do? No, most people won’t be able too but the rare people with the talent, skills, & work ethic can.

I see AP or any business, career as no different.

Just for the record & some context at one point I was doing the freeplay system & it was very lucrative so I don’t doubt that some of the high numbers I’ve on forums seen are possible.

But you have to remember it is an insane amount of work. Figuring out where the offers are, generating the offers, traveling to pick them up. Your basically going to be working & traveling every waking minute and then trying to grab a few hours of sleep when u can. It’s not a healthy life style or a picnic, it takes a big toll,

It wasn’t for me, I’m happy earning enough to be comfortable & thats it.

And having done it for a few months I would say it’s certainly not for everyone. In fact most people probably couldn’t do it, & I don’t say that bcuz i think I’m better or smarter than anyone else. Its just that the amount of work, research, planning, travel, investment, time away from friends / family, & bad unhealthy lifestyle just wouldn’t work for most people as i found it didn’t work for me long term so I scaled back to get a balance between work & enjoyment.

This is actually one of he better post I’ve read on this board.

You must have a rigorous militant schedule to run big free play. It’s very time consuming and not for everyone. Constantly moving around the country to different markets and investing money months in advance often in completely different states. Most people don’t really like the road after awhile. You don’t have to move around the country but IMO its best. Eventually you wear out your welcome, or something better comes up.

I don’t think it’s necessarily a unhealthy lifestyle because most casinos have a nice gym and healthy food options. You need to make the right choices. Granted its not easy but the options are there. Sleep needs to be managed by anyone who spends significant time in casinos. That seems to be the most difficult
