That "MI" stood for what you claim did not occur to me, nor did it appear when In googled the term.

You see, people in military intelligence typically are behind the lines and not in harm's way, ensconced in safe, secure locations, analyzing data, not on the front lines or behind enemy lines; were he an operative I should think he'd be a SEAL, perhaps DELTA, or with CIA and not just a weenie in military intelligence.

Given that, Robert's claim that he was being trained to kill in MI didn't resonate.
