Seriously, Half-Smoke, it's sad if Shackleford does some ATS analyses, and somehow doesn't mention the dozens of other people and published sources who have been doing it for 30 years. I can almost guarantee that whatever Shackleford publishes had been examined previously by someone on the Playbook staff, for example. And Playbook isn't necessarily the most sophisticated group of analysts doing this stuff. They may cumulatively have the most experience, but there are other heavy hitters out there.

I mean, c'mon, put Shackleford in some perspective. He's great at what he does, but is he even qualified to teach a doctoral candidate math? Is he a programmer? There are oodles of programmers working on this 24/7. Walters, in his book, brags a bit about hiring the best of 80 applicants to be his current lead programmer.
