That would be ridiculous -- to turn in cash for free play even if there were a 10% bonus.
At least if they were giving you cash + a 10% bonus in free play there would be some utility in this.
But as soon as they convert your cash into free play that must be run through the machine you are trapped. Even if you played a 99+% return machine you could be a victim.
Bad deal.
It's similar to the false rationale that some players have when they use a debit card with Caesars properties at the cage. Seven Stars get the fee returned to them as free play. They use that rebate in free play to rationalize their use of the debit card. However, it would make more sense if they went to a bank for the cash -- or used a fee-free MARKER -- than to be charged a fee that is reimbursed as free play.
