I am sure this is subjective and just my opinion but you did not look like you were having any fun at all in that video.
Do you mean for AP reasons? I wasn't really so much into it, then.

I was having fun. I smiled after the trash can thing and I was smiling during the interview at the end. I'm not going to be grinning while I'm in the process of eating the nuggets, if that's what you are expecting.

You were pretty quiet and looked like you just woke up or was ready to go back to bed.
Do you want me to scream when I talk? As far as the other, I'd been in Vegas for a few days, at that point. That's really more of an excuse than anything, though. That's just kind of how I always look, I don't know why. I look like that when I'm wide awake.

You really did not look interested. Maybe that was you just trying to get in the zone and focus but to me you looked like you would rather be doing anything else.
Yes. Obviously I would try to focus until it was over. If you're referring to the opening interview, that caught me off guard. I didn't know that would happen. That's why I was much more comfortable at the end interview.

Of course that doesn't mean anything... sometimes it is tough to judge a book by the cover but I really did not see any enthusiasm from you.
You looked like you wanted to get it over with so you could get on with the next order of business.
Just watch the end interview. I was perfectly happy.

Also you ate nuggets like a normal person. Those professionals would of had large glasses of iced tea and been shoving 4 to 5 nuggets in their mouths at a time washing them down as they wiggled and jumped up and down. Something about Iced Tea or Tea that helps with the digestion for this thing. Those nuggets are like bread and those guys always dunk the bread in the Tea during the Hot Dog Challenge.
You're thinking of eating competitions where you're going up against other people in a finite amount of time. This was totally different. It was just myself v. the nuggets. I was actually right at the pace I wanted for 100 in an hour. The goal was to front load some of them (but not too fast) that way I could drop down to as little as one nugget per minute if it got difficult at a certain point. That part of the plan worked, like I said, my stomach felt just fine.
