I don’t know who AndrewG is, but I totally get it, if he should, in fact, be Alan. He wants to post and express his views without being attacked. I mean once someone builds up a history on a forum (any forum), people no longer listen to what that person says. They just attack him or support him, depending on how they view him.
When I was at blackjack the forum, I was endlessly attacked for tipping and for defending casinos from all the stupid things APs say about them. After a while, everyone stopped paying attention to the content of my posts. They just attacked me no mater what I said. I could have said “the sky is blue”, and I’d have had 10 posters calling me vulgar names, calling me a troll and telling me they were putting me on ignore (as if that impacted my life, lol).
It was the same way at Blackjack Apprerenship. I was actually banned at BJA because I wouldn’t show the math behind my tipping. And I’m not making that up.
So when I started posting here, I made a new handle because I wanted to ask a blackjack question, and I figured if I posted as dbs6582, I’d get attacked without anybody paying attention to my question and answering it.
So if you ask why Alan might want to post under another handle (if, in fact, AndewG is Alan), it makes total sense to me. He just wants to express his views without being attacked. And every post AndewG has made has been a quality post without any intent to troll. So why does anybody care?
