Sample size is too small. I mean, even with 500 patients, there may be thousands of different anecdotal experiences with other types and degrees of "miracle" cures out there that look good, at first. So, a few of those "miracle" cures might seem sure-fire, at first.
Regardless, this one does sound counter-intuitive, with the virus attacking the lungs. As well, has smoking ever helped anyone with the flu, or cold?
