I mean what the hell, you have the entire industry...basically the only industry in Nevada waiting on this announcement? Just because the Gov was in the same room with someone that later tested positive....what the hell? Shouldn't the announcement one way or the other still happen? They have to announce at least 7 days prior to opening.

So here are some changes that seem likely based in The Gaming Commission meeting today.

Casinos may not be open 24 hours. They are discussing a 10am-2am schedule.

There may be phases to the opening. Phase 1 would be Nevada residents only! Phase 2 would include people from California and nearby states that drive to Las Vegas. Phase 3 would include visitors who travel by air. This all seems weird to me. If you are open, you are open.

One that may effect some blackjack player is no more handheld blackjack. All shoe games. The discussion was specifically about doing away with single deck BJ. DD and 6/8 deck would be shoe games dealt face up.

Of course there is the 3 players to a table (BJ), 4 roulette, 6 craps that were already discussed.

Plastic dividers between table game players as well as player and dealer.

frequent cleaning of cards and chips using an ultra violet light.
That all sounds miserable from a customer perspective. And totally not profitable from a casino's perspective.
This shit needs to be figured out quickly. Nothing is coming back unless the tradeshow and conventions come back. Not sure why none of these people are talking about that. There's so many businesses claiming that they are going to fold unless SEMA goes off in November. If it doesn't happen this valley is going to get brutal savage REKT.
Open the casinos because there's a long way to go from that point.
