Spiderman was an account I created at Norm's blackjack forum several years after I was banned there. It wasn't for the purpose of returning for general posting. I had information on a cheating issue at a particular casino involving an automatic shuffle machine and I wanted to warn other players. So it turned out that where I was concerned with being cheated and wanted to warn other players, several players in Las Vegas already knew of the situation and had figured out how to beat it and were doing that when the story broke. Within 2 weeks of my initial post warning players and the story being carried by someone else over to WoV, the ASM in question (there were only 2 machines at one particular casino), were pulled from the casino floor and replaced by older models that have been used for years.
This meant that the advantage play that a small number of people were beating this game and machine with was gone and several players were pretty pissed at me. I got one threatening email and a couple other emails just cussing me out. Several of those players were WoV members.
Monet keeps bringing this up, but the sock puppet was not at WOV and it was only for the purpose of warning players about the cheating. I had no idea it was outing a play. I guess it is possible that Monet was one of those players that were playing and beating those machines, but I doubt it. I think he just thinks it is something that makes me look bad in the eyes of the AP community, so he keeps rehashing it, as he seems to do with everything. This is a freaking dude that lives in the past and constantly rehashes shit (as evident from his posts about his meet up with Axelwolf).
