I have to strongly disagree with you on this. My son carries three different cell phones with him at all times, and they are quite pricey. One is for his music accessories business, one is for our TV business, and one is for his personal business. I suspect he has a fourth cell phone with him that he uses for his "monkey business."

Cell phone companies here in So Cal have been pushing multiple accounts. My cell phone is through my son's account, and I suspect he is at the point where he buys 8 numbers and gets two free along with free phones. In my case I get a free phone every two years. I recently traded in a blackberry for a Samsung Galaxy S which even allows me to update my website.

Edited to add: I spent some time today talking with Rob about taking the "high road" from here on out. "Can't we all get along?"

I suspect Rob may be more amenable to taking the high road, seeing as how his low road just got cratered by photon torpedoes.

Well Alan, there may be a few exceptions for people running multiple businesses. I hope you don't think this is common or that it applies to someone who claims to be "retired".

I carry 4--1 for my professional use, one for my other business use, and 1 personal. Then I also keep 1 back-up in ccase they all go dead on me.

When I play poker at casinos like The Bicycle it is not uncommon to see people sitting at the table with two or more cell phones. We old guys just don't get it. Having more than one cell phone is pretty much standard today for the hip and busy people of the world.

It's amazing how easily you guys go into la la land. Were not talking about the "busy people of the world". We're talking about a retired dufus who can't even rotate an image. Good grief.

Maybe he needs all those phones to juggle all the lies you claim he makes.

Careful Arc. I have three of Rob's numbers on the logs of my cell phone. I use one of the numbers for sending him texts. I have two numbers for voice conversations.

I like how arci calls me a retired dufus when it is he who has asked for and is living with the nightmares none of us ever want to experience. I guess it comes down to this: DUFUS-1; TESTED GENIUS-0 Now ask him....and Mr. Spock....how much that hurts.

Anyway, I took a few pictures of the pack I've always taken with me to the casinos, and still do. I'll explain the basic items included, but I no longer take my gun along.

If you look closely you'll see 3 phones. I again used my wife's to take this picture because I've discovered hers is the easiest overall for me to shap quick shots. You'll also see a walkie-talkie that's only taken along when my wife comes with so we can keep in touch since she has no desire to gamble. There's a switchblade, a sports pager that has all the up-to-the-minute information any sports bettor would want or need, a button that honors the late, great hero #40 Pat Tillman, a separate digital camera just in case, and a cell phone/satellite signal jammer. And that's just on the outside. Is everything legal? No, but if I ever had or have any trouble then one phone call is all I'd need to leave clean.

What's all this for? Well, seeing that regnis carries four phones and many many others carry two or three, now you can see what Singer carries and why....and how it doesn't matter to me which phone is grabbed from the pack to snap a picture of ALL THOSE WINNING HANDS WITH SOME ON HIGH DENOMINATIONS that appear to make more than a few people envious here.

I'll be happy to serve up some cheese with that whine....

    No American Express Card??

I guess paying the extra ten bucks a month per phone on the family plans is just a little much for someone who's stuck buying "other things" these days. Such a shame....

However, we're taking all four with us on a hike up around Lake Tahoe on Wed. and then the next day as we shop and eat on the Truckee River Walk in Reno. Oh my....to be able to do things together, whenever & wherever we like.

    God Bless America!

Don't forget he never leaves home now---he takes it with him.

It's humorous that Singer actually thinks this answers the issues put forth. There must be a huge gap in his thinking capabilities.

It's all been said arci. People can decide for themselves. We all know your agenda will always be to talk yourself into it all being a "lie" since my good fortune in vp and, as you've so unfortunately have had to read about and see, my personal life, does not sit well with you....or with those who see a need to come to your defense so I can pick them off too.

The more you whine about it, the more exposed you become. First, the jackpots were "pictures that I took of other players' wins" (remember that one?), then you said if they were mine then I had to have lost a lot more than I won, and now it's pictures taken from who knows where because of the several phones involved. But oh golly gee, what can you now do when AGAIN, Alan comes on and proves I DO have all these phones....just like he did when you lied about Cindy & I living & being elsewhere, etc.etc.etc. The gig's been up with you for a while arci. You've been caught in your own traps so often that I can't imagine how embarrassed you are at this moment

Poor Robbie, so lost in his own nightmare he didn't even catch the play on words in my last comment. Instead, he made a complete fool of himself. So funny ....

I'd say the "squeak squeak" is having quite the effect this morning

Through this post, you prove again how dumb and ignorant you really are. People don't loathe you because of your wins. People loathe you because you're probably the biggest asshole they've ever encountered. And they're right. You are of a rare kind. You give new meaning to the word asshole and not in a good way.

They loathe me because of how and how much I win VL, just as you show you do. The name-calling, as with yours here, comes in after I irritate and frustrate them even more with precision-like shots about it.

Rob... one million dollars over ten years is not that big for Vegas winnings. I play craps with people who win that much in a weekend.

$1 million over 10 years of Vegas winnings may not be indicative of a Vegas whale, but I'd take it over a sharp stick in the eye! Much better than degenerate losing, stealing, embezzling, etc.

There was one article Rob wrote a long time ago on VP Truth that really resonated with me. Casinos are super hard places to win at and I always remember the article where Rob said it was better to walk out a mere $50 winner than to walk out with a stack of ATM slips you can't use to pay for groceries.

I've always felt a sense of accomplishment during those trips I was horrendously stuck and made a big comeback to walk off the casino property a tiny winner. It feels like a good battle during those times, but it leaves me exhausted and usually serves as a warning sign for me to lay off of casino trips for a while.

This is just the human side of me talking, not the logical side.

As an aside, I am sorry to say that I don't recover from some of those 'deep in the hole' sessions even when going in the casino with a rigorously executed plan.

Some of the worst trips psychologically are the ones where I lose a bunch, make it almost completely back to even, and then lose a bunch again. Those are tough trips I hate.
