I can assure you MaxPen is legit, trustworthy and good guy with more than enough money to his name. When I first met him years ago it was so he could pay me on a bet I won over at WOV, he didn't have to show up to honor his bet. He also did me a big solid and was holding a large amount of cash for me, I didn't even know where he lived at the time, he could have easily taken off with it and there wouldn't be much I could do about it. You should be nice to him or you won't be on his apocalypse bunker buddy list.
No one's gonna call you a fool for staying away from the everyday BS on this forum. I understand max HAS to have SOME acquaintances, and it's likely he asked you to come over here to keep his "vouch" bacon from burning. I do believe you about what you said, however. And asking ANYBODY in that town to hold large amounts of cash for someone is not a wise thing to do no matter WHO the participants are. Ask Tom Robertson and his ex-friend Rick.
That said....it's pretty gutless for a hack like him to put up a couple of sad and lonely passport stamps without ID or picture proof, just to make himself feel better. It's always the same. It wouldn't have been the end of the world if he didn't, although for a lot of forum people it actually IS the end of the world when others say they don't believe them. That's where having a REAL LIFE comes into play.
As for max being a "good guy", well, I know I'm a good guy and have been so for a long, long time--and my long marriage and children/grandkids would attest to that. But it's a different story on a forum, which max doesn't seem to want his character to appear as such. And it's also precisely why everyone should know that kew works huge amounts of overtime to build his "Hey everybody, I'm a respectful, decent, GOOD guy" personna up tirelessly all over the internet, while he's obviously a very troubled, angry, non-achieving POS in real life. He got the whole thing backwards. Maybe I can straighten him out when he comes over here.
