Recreational gamblers, at least those of us with discipline, gamble for fun, for stimulation, for escape from our daily existence and our day jobs (or retirement, whichever the case may be).

This is a big difference and understandably colors the way each looks at gambling.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but where is the "fun" in being an AP?

While certainly not an expert on different methods of AP, those I have read about do not seem to be fun: hole carding, shuffle tracking, card counting, playing with other's cards: no joy there, just a lot of hard work.

Recreational gamblers (we who are not degenerate, anyway) have already made our money and are looking for ways to spend it: gambling is one way.
