I have seen the quote where MDawg said that when he puts out a table max bet he always wins. He did not make a mistake when he wrote that as he deliberately loves to put the bait out there, as he enjoys being a moron. When I saw that quote I quickly dismissed it as MDawg only being MDawg. In reality, he often talks about bet pressing to some degree so it only stands to reason that he ALWAYS Loses his biggest bet made.
Just talk of Table max bet is one of those things that is revealing about MDawg.

Table Max does not necessarily mean table max for a card counter or anyone spreading (moving money with the count). A flat bettor may be allowed to flat bet Table Max, but anyone spreading will not. General rule is 50% of what is posted. If a table has a $2000 max, maybe you can spread to close to $1000. (I would stay under $1000). If a table is $5000 max, maybe you can get away with spreading to $2500, maybe towards $3000 for a short time. But if you spread right up to table max, your are going to get only a round or two in before the hammer comes down. KC got into some of that on his documentary.
