Just for the hell of it I decided to make a list of how much coin in it currently costs to get a $1 of freeplay (or cash) in some of the places I like to go. Here's what I have so far, correct me if I'm wrong. These amounts are based on VP play, slots are generally 50% less.

Palace Station (Sun&Thur) $200ci/$1cash
The D $1000ci/$1FP
4Queens $320ci/$1cash + $2comp
Downtown Grand $500ci/$1FP

I'll post more as I get the info.
The D and the Golden Gate got killed for years as they were sending 1200 Free Play per year on 10k coin in.
They wised up awhile back.
