The worst thing that Singer did, I think, was when an AP video poker writer died while Singer was writing at Gaming Today. Now I'm not a video poker professional, so I do not know the various names and such. I'm not sure if the guy who had died was one of the AP video poker columnists who shared GT space with Singer or not. In any event, he had labeled Singer's systems as voodoo. So he dies and Singer goes on public forums, where people were saying good things about the guy who died. Now the guy's family was reading the condolences on the forums, and Singer goes on an "Eat dirt" tirade.
To me, that takes Singer out of any qualification for sympathy. If Singer's own family didn't know that he had done that, I'd have no issue informing them.
That "Eat dirt" stint contributed to GT dropping his column.
