And for credibility he wrote a book, a fairytale about his gambling successes. While the book was published by The Gamblers Club. I am not sure if it was self published in that Rob paid for the small publishing run or he convinced the GBC to publish a small run (I suspect the former). But the goal was to mislead players and profit off of doing so.
The claim of winning VP play is so completely bogus. The methodology doesn't work. The timing doesn't work as this so called book launching his great career was published just months after Singers admitted 6 year run and failure as a video poker player.
Following publishing of the book Singer launched this 20 run of fictional claims on every platform, every forum, a Gaming Today column that he wrote for free. Videos that he made with Alan. He no doubt would have utilized Youtube, had he known how at the time. Few people bought into his fantasy claims, especially anyone with even a little bit of knowledge about how video poker or advantage really works. When people questioned his claims with legitimate challenges, Singer just attacked them with nasty and personal attacks. That has been modus operandi for 20 years now.
As Mickeycrimm so rightfully pointed out, Singer was banned from every legitimate forum at the time. Internet forum owners are more tolerant of the drama and controversy that someone like Singer creates because it creates traffic, but ultimately there comes a point they could no longer tolerate him, Even Dan Druff who tolerates almost everything has recently come out and announced "It's pretty obvious that all of Rob Singer's controversial stories are complete bullshit. Anyone who believes him at this point is either stupid or trolling." Keep in mind, forum owners have information that we don't even have about all the sock puppets and posting from places that are very different than what he is claiming.
Anyone who actually looks into this guy, finds that nothing is as he claims, dating back to where he claims to have gone to college. He has never owned property, living in apartments or an trailer/RV park. And now at 71 years old, has little money, and a very modest social security and lives off his kids. Does this sound like a man that has made millions of dollars via his gambling claims?
And the worst of his attacks over the years has been attacking recently passed spouses of those who dare challenge his claims. He has done so at least 3 times that I am aware of, probably more over the years. And he attacked a man after his death, that had legitimately challenged his bogus claim, not on a internet forum, but in the publication that the man wrote for, for all his grieving family to see. How low can you go? What a true maggot of a person. These are the facts and anyone who says different is a liar.
That is who you continue to defend BoSox, even after all the cards are on the table. At this point it makes me question you and just what kind of person you are to now continually defend and support this guy. To quote Joseph Welsh during the McCarthy hearings, "Have you no decency sir?
