Right. If I said I won 100K on a football future, no big deal. If I said I won 100K betting football by winning 40 out of 41 games, well, that comes with a lot of baggage and a lot of questions.

So the obvious journalistic query becomes, "What is the point of the 40 out of 41 or whatever storyline? If that's the pitch, why?"

And, AndrewG, wouldn't you agree that a journalist might default to the obvious conclusion, "Well, he must be trying to appeal to people who want magic beans?"
