Sorry to have to tell you this, KJ, but you are on the very bottom of a long list of people that have refuted Singer's claims over the years. He was banned from publishing his strategy on vpFREE back in about 2004. There were lots of people that refuted Rob's claims on every forum he ever pushed it on. In 16 years I've seen only a couple of people that ever took his strategy seriously. It was always Singer against the world. So for you to say that he only ran out of believers in the past year is not correct.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ
Word salads like "short term, win-oriented-goals" may be popular with motivational speakers, but they don't do you much good gambling.
Personally, I prefer a wide-term, loss-evading special strategy. I call it W.I.T.L.E.S.S. for short. I figure since "short-term" and "long-term" are subjective, why not use the "wide-term?"
I see it's time to slap some more sense into the so-called "LV experts" who permeate these forums.
While that California fool mdawg keeps you idiots obsessed with his fairy tales, you're still missing the big and only picture--regardless of the purported rumors about the wizard: mdawg keeps you jerks under his phoniness spell because you're all too stupid to realize that the way he claims to operate in the casinos is 100% opposite of how casinos actually operate. Anyone who's ever been involved in comps at the higher end of things would instantly realize this. And just think about the stupid handle the idiot uses: MDAWG. For Gods sake, he acts like Samuel L. Jackson or Randy "racist" Jackson personally bestowed his handle upon him. This poster has cliche'd himself into the type of underachiever only a "gotta keep up with my neighbors" pussy from California would fall into.
And speaking about pussies and hypocrites....where did I read that kew came out claiming mdawg was clinging to the loser's creed by saying how "he told us about a loss, but you can be sure he'll be back saying how he won it all back, and more". This....from the internet's BIGGEST HYPOCRITE/DEMOCRAT OF ALL TIME. How many times has kew come on after being excoriated about his non-stop "winning" to slip in a sudden, unexpected "loss"....only to come back to help us all wipe the sweat off of our brows by blabbing how "but guys--I just won it all back and MORE"....just like the math says it should happen to world-class AP's!!
A legend in his own mind. Wise up.
You know, it's a shame, that you can't be a more decent person. Even when you are right, you have to lie or distort reality. You are 100% correct that Mdawgs stories and claims, involving the comp part just is not how Las Vegas works. That is one of the tells that the whole thing is bullshit. BUT you are 100% wrong when you say we are all too stupid to realize it. I have been calling that out for months, as had Axelwolf and a few others. But it is pretty hard to keep doing that when you are repeatedly silenced from doing so, as I and other have been. This Mdawg person has either bought and paid for Wizard, or at the very least manipulates him to the point that Wizard shutdown anyone making legitimate challenges, either about the math (or lack of) or the way las Vegas works. So it is not that we are too stupid to realize anything, but we are not allowed to say. That is what that site is now. Mdawg manipulating Mike and making a mockery of everything.
Now on to me reporting my results. Just can't help yourself can you. I am constantly on your mind, because I am a successful AP that you always wanted to be. Nobody, and I mean Nobody has shared their results as honestly as I have and that includes the losing or bad or ugly periods. How dare you say something so stupid and untrue as I always rebound wiping out the bad runs. I am coming off my worst year in 12 in Las Vegas, reported accurately as I was going through it and ending up far below expectation. Where was that great rebound that you just lied about? For god sakes, Rob, you don't have to lie about everything. Doing so puts you right in the same boat as this fictional Mdawg character.

Absolutely incredible goings on over at WoV! The mdawg team and supporters, of which Wizard aligned himself or was manipulated into, have taken up the full blown anti-math positions, arguing that math is voodoo, with statements like "Sorry, but all the advanced math knowledge in the world doesn't prove anything" on a forum that is all about the math, started by a guy who is all about the math. And Wizard sits by and says nothing.
This Mdawg and his great adventure was always about making a mockery of Wizard and WoV and it has come to fruition.

I believe you're beginning to notice and understand: you do not believe not want to believe a person who plays a strategy on vp such as I do can and has won with it--regardless if it's 99.9% -EV or less or 100.1% +ev or greater. It is inconceivable to you because it is outside the realm of which you say you play. Yet at the same time, you are completely annoyed whenever a poster says they don't believe what you claim YOUR results to be, simultaneously professing that no one on the forums has been more honest and upfront with their reported results than you! And this....without any proof from anybody ever.
That's what I'm talking about kew. It isn't just with me--you're unendingly offended when ANYBODY questions what you say. And now that I brought up how you've continuously never talked about a losing session without explaining how we're not to worry because you shortly thereafter won it all back and more....it's very telling. At least to experienced gamblers it is.
I get that for some reason you NEED your brand to appear successful across the forums. It's basically you're entire life. But if you're gonna expect the masses to always believe in what you're claiming, you'd be wise to give the benefit of the doubt to others, even if you disagree with their methods or simply don't understand why different plottings on Bell Curves actually exist.
My honest take on you (beyond this undeniable/insatiable craving for forums attention and relevance/acceptance, that is) is that you became infatuated with living in LV at a young age, you saw it as a venue that could put up with your very minority but alternative lifestyle, and rather than pursue a productive lifestyle you chose to get involved with gambling--while totally ignoring WTF would happen to you once you reached 50. It makes for an admirable approach....for people who have non-aggressive short-term goals and who don't care to live comfortably for very long. Thus, I see why this stuff is so everything to you right now and for the time you saturate these forums. You've afforded yourself no other options.
It's hard to blame someone like that when it's how they choose to present the living they are making to others. Hell, I know axel does it and from our discussions he seems to have an otherwise normal life. Mickey also does it and he has an unconventional way of approaching things. There's plenty of others too. But there's also people like me, who chose to have an established family life and career before getting involved in professional gambling, which I also chose to close down the day the DU play died. Everyone's different. And just because you've got this pre-conceived notion that no one can be ahead after playing 4 years on + and -EV vp machines, it doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Even red's collection of University Math Professors would tell you that. And while I don't play professionally any more and don't use my play strategy, I've even won overall since 2009, albeit not by any significant amount.
Gambling's all about luck. Either the cards show up for you or they don't. I'm not afraid to say they didn't show up for me on a 2-night we just returned from at Circa, dropping $8700, and you won't see me trying to ease minds by claiming to have "won it all back, and more since. But it had NOTHING to do with whether my play was on a 99% game or a 101% game. The cards just didn't show. But you know what? I won't be at a casino again until next month sometime, and I'll simply withdraw cash from my retirement account and try to do better. Whether people on forums comment or even care about my play or stated results isn't the end-all in my life.
It shouldn't be so in your life either. Try it. You'll learn to enjoy and appreciate other aspects of life much more.
2 takeaways from Rob's above ramblings.
1.) Rob continues to try to push the erroneous narrative, that while players can win playing -EV over a very short period of time, this can be duplicated over and over, resulting in long-term winning. The best example against what Rob is claiming continues to be that it is very possible to walk into a casino and win 3 of 4 rounds of roulette betting black. But try doing that every day for a year.
2.) I guess Rob is now saying that his longterm -EV winning claims, which he has pushed as a legitimate winning strategy for years, are now due to his results being on the far outer edges of the bell curve, rather than a legitimate winning strategy. I guess that is a concession that these claimed winnings are not really possible via a legitimate winning strategy.

I get a kick out of how people who are facing down the end of their lifespans argue tooth and nail that how they have lived (and gambled) was THE RIGHT WAY, even if it was all bullshit and losing and not knowing what the hell they were doing half the time. Play those parlays, boys.
Here's the "Singer" absurdity for the day. He's lecturing kewlJ about not being prepped to live comfortably beyond the age of 50. Yet somebody in his 70's is gallivanting around in a not-a-Newell day after day after day. So kewlJ is supposed to aspire to being trapped in 300 square feet of space on the nation's pot-holed highways in perpetuity? Kewlj's life is supposed to be the anomaly, according to "Singer."
I think you overestimated the square footage of a Winnebago Micro Minnie by a factor of 2. Under 150 sft is probably more like it. I am pretty sure you have to leave the squeegee at home when hitting the road in that goat.
Singer owning a micro anything is so ironic.....lol
No reason for a man who has both Social Security and a federal government pension to live in a small travel trailer, unless it's by choice or he somehow really shit the bed.
What, Me Worry?
No reason for a man who has won (and presumably saved / invested) a lot of money playing VP and who receives monthly payments from both Social Security and a federal government pension to live in a small travel trailer, unless it's by choice or he somehow really shit the bed.

What's interesting is that nobody, except the newbie fan club members, seems to buy the MDawg storyline any longer. And this is despite Shackleford, not because of him. Unless, that is, Shackleford was a witness to the 68K loss, which was the rationale for the reportage of same. That would explain the recent radio silence by Shackleford at WoV regarding MDawg.
I personally lean slightly to the theory that fear of The Boz led to an imposed loss report.
Meanwhile, the inestimable champion of all that's possible, coach belly, has also gone into radio silence vis-a-vis MDawg after the Dawg's purported 68K loss. I never thought of the coach as a fair weather friend, but he hasn't commented on the 68K downer. He must be awaiting the next 100K win, which is assuredly just over the posting rainbow.
Mdawg and the great fairytale is just floundering around like nothing we have ever seen. The 68k loss was an escalation of claims. These guys do that when no one (except their own sock puppets) is left believing and responding. So they escalate to generate new attention that they need. The 68k loss was the first step in that escalation. It clearly was going to be followed up with an even bigger win, or series of bigger wins, but when that was predicted before he even got to it, he had to changed course.
Now he is laying the groundwork for some much bigger wins with this talk today of "fine tuning what he is doing and learning to press harder". Funny how in one breath this clown says "he has been winning like this for years" and in the next, he is "fine tuning and still learning". Which is it?
My guess is in the next few days he will post a series of big wins (or one really big win) due to his "learning to press harder" and then skip town on a high note. He is setting that up. Although now that it has been predicted....who know.
Doesn't even matter at this point. No one left believing and only his sockpuppets left talking. But it is fun watching him flounder and search for a great escape plan.
Final thought: kudos to OnceDear for the comment that WoV is Mdawg's forum, with forum crossed out and thread inserted. Bravo!

I have to give you credit for the escalation prediction, kewlJ. That's the proper analysis, I think. It's an attention issue. The previous amounts being wagered by MDawg were okay, but they weren't all that.
So escalation it will be. You are undoubtedly correct.
It would be interesting to see if someone who won 40 out of 41 stops at a place like the Wynn would actually continue to get comped to the gills. Maybe they would. Would theo win the day, or would the powers that be shut comps down? In sports betting, I think somewhere like the Wynn would trust the theo regardless of outcomes, although 40 out of 41 might test their generosity a bit. I'll never know myself -- getting simple RFB at the Wynn or Encore via sports betting would require something like six digits every single day.
I also believe that will happen. After all, what are forum members left to think, if the incredible self-proclaimed winner who rejects and denies play-witnesses, was forced into posting about a phony loss in the hope of converting doubters?
Remember your claimed $28k loss??
Just sayin'.....
