1. “It's called 'the American Dream' 'cause you have to be asleep to believe it.”

RIP George, you're really missed by a lot of us.

thanks for the reco Monet.
Understood.
If you haven't listened to these clips yet I can save you a bit of trouble.

1 and 2 are great so that's about the first ten minutes.
After that not so much.
You can skip 3 thru 6.
7 Uncle Dave is pretty good as it seems that is the polished version (toned down) of "I kinda like it when a lot of people die."
8 and 9 are ok as they are real life accounts of what happened to the HBO special that they filmed on September 9 and 10th of 2001.
Ironically, they had to scrap the material because of what happened on September 11th.
His bit about Disasters is either loved or hated.
It's a bit with Irony but you know... too soon.
For me I found it decent enough of a 20 minute rant/monologue.
Funny enough and on point with Carlin's Style.
It is supposed to offend... that's the humor of it.
You have to admit it is pretty damn funny that they filmed this show on the 9th and 10th about Carlin Loving lots of death through Disasters lol lol lol and the very next day one of the biggest ones in US History occurred!
And they say God doesn't have a sense of humor!
I listened to the whole thing - your synopsis was on point. thanks again.
