Through the early 90’s the lgbt community supported pedophiles, some sort of odd perverted sexuality people unite thing or something. NAMBLA was a member in the International Gay and Lesbian Association. Then when there was public backlash, and as homosexuality gradually became more accepted, they distanced themselves. But the community only distanced themselves after there was public backlash and penalties, the seperation was only done when it became beneficial to do so. The truth of the association is simply not politically correct to acknowledge.
