There will always be high-voltage power lines. The only thing is when will they all be underground. Like the permanent cables strung across the bottoms of oceans.
Ninety-nine percent of international data is transmitted by wires at the bottom of the ocean called submarine communications cables. In total, they are hundreds of thousands of miles long and can be as deep as Everest Is tall. The cables are installed by special boats called cable-layers.
More interesting are projects such as the Chinese putting the solar stuff in space. Stuff that has been written about for decades. One version used to be to run a cable out to space, let it hang there to gather static electricity formed through friction with the atmosphere.

Holy God fuck me good. I spent the first eighteen years of my life on a farm. Two farms actually. Never the fuck again. Is it psychologically normal for people to pick up, and leave the cities, for isolated, undeveloped places? I think it's a hell of a joke bit of mind fucking.
Which brings me to the gist of my posts here. AP's, more than anyone else, naturally end up thinking this way, that they thus have some real and actual control over their lives. There are much better ways to fuck the world, and, then, just fuck off.
There are, nor have there ever been, any big or other businesses that tried to stop new forms of energy, or anything else. No one ever proved that such was being suppressed, no one ever made a fortune running with some suppressed technology, no one would not consider and fail to develop what technology the other side has, and so on. It just makes zero sense, on any level.
At the other end of the spectrum, anyone with any real world, and local, experience learned just how corrupt everything is on every possible level. Same as the Earth, itself, has been exploited to every degree on every level. Conspiracies pale in comparison. What need of conspiracies with "friends" who desert one at the first sign of properly and fully defending oneself from the "system"?
