The quote from post #1 of the celebrity sightings threads was that the Vegas Golden Knights were gambling at the Wynn this past weekend and
"Unbeknownst to either team, the Montreal Canadiens were in the back area at a private table gambling at the same time". He didn't say, he heard, or someone told him....he stated it as fact. He also didn't say ex-Montreal Canadian Players or fan club. That is revisionist bullshit, on your part. Only later after I made know that the Montreal Canadians were in Montreal under government ordered quarantine at the time, did Mdawg start backtracking claiming second hand info.
Here's the part where it becomes fair game to call him a liar. He then doubled down later that day June 28, the next day June 29, when he called it a
fact that both teams were there and YET again on July 5 saying higher up employees had confirmed that both teams were there. This doubling down after having been proven wrong is not just lying, it is delusional. And that seems to be the real problem on these forums. There are a handful of people that are just not grounded in reality and you making excuses at this point seems to be you making your case for that club.
