Its absolutely astonishing that an emotional and mental wreck, ( possibly physical) like the UNKOOL1 can go in on a near daily basis for a few hours a day and be able to focus and apply his trade. Outside of this he has absolutely no self control whatsoever. What a damaged individual !

If he's run half marathons, then he has plenty of discipline. That requires commitment and day to day workouts more stringent than any sport except maybe wrestling, where weight control and diet control are also required. And living in Las Vegas, where the entire environment is designed to make you a degenerate addict, requires all kinds of control to stick with just what you do and not bleed away your winnings, a la Stu Ungar or Phil Ivey or T.J. Cloutier or Mike Matusow and on and on and on.

Saying kewlJ has no discipline because he rants on forums, while his whole work environment requires iron clad discipline, is pretty silly. It's like saying a Navy SEAL has no discipline because he yells at the officials during televised football games.

I don't believe for one second UNKOOL1 runs half marathons, with his weak 38 year old heart. From EVERYTHING he has said over the last 5 1/2 years and over 15000 posts between here, GF and Rusty's house, I'm near certain he not only doesn't run marathons he's not very physically active for a 38 year old fairly young guy.

I haven't run a marathon in a few years. I believe the last one was a half marathon the year after my last heart surgery, to prove to myself I still could. I used to run 3 miles a couple times a week. Don't do that anymore either although I did go out for a run last year a few times during covid. These days I enjoy going for a good long bike ride more which I do a couple times a week. I also swim a couple times a week and regularly play baseball and volleyball in the park. Usually on weekend mornings there is a pickup game of some sort. I had my semi-annual checkup with the heart doctor last week and I am doing great. There are absolutely no limitations or restrictions on anything. Sorry to disappoint you guys.

I am not a writer. I have no desire to be a writer. I play blackjack for a living and try to share some of those experiences. I know I am not very good at doing so, hence the long posts. I appreciate that a few people like MaxPen and redietz can at least appreciate my effort.

Next: for the longest time I thought Singer was the biggest troll I had ever seen or encountered. Then Madawggy came along and made a run at him. But in my mind neither are. He celebrates the bullying and name calling that most people leave behind in grade school. He has never grown into a mature adult. Next Singer. I can't believe this guy. A new level of jealousy. He is jealous of a book I didn't write. I remember when Rob was bent out of shape because he thought the Robert Dietz in "Tipsters or Gypsters?" and in the Wise Guys Contest was a different R.E. Dietz and I was pretending to be him. Remember those halcyon days, Rob?

I guess the redietz who finished in the top 10 (out of 20,000) in last season's Gaming Today online NFL contest was someone else, too. Rob, you wrote for Gaming Today, didn't you? Why don't you give them a call and verify that redietz was in the top 10 at the conclusion of last season?

The difference between sports handicappers and people like Rob is that we have public records, for better or worse. For example, some folks might think having the best or second best all-time overall record in the Wise Guys Contest, which featured two games a week for 30 years, might indicate something. Especially since the Wise Guys plays were published every week...for 30 years. Not Rob. He's too smart to buy that. It was a conspiracy.

Some people might think that being the top college profit handicapper three of the final five years of "Tipsters or Gypsters?" -- published out of Las Vegas -- might suggest some small shred of expertise. Not Rob, of course.

A few wayward folks might think that winning 17 ATS games in a row, and having articles published about the "streak" during the contest, while compiling a 66-34 ATS record in a public online competition, might slightly point to some kind of experience. (By the way, I did NOT win the contest). Not Rob.

I'm not sure Singer quite grasps how the Wise Guys works. My Wise Guy games were in a national newsletter, sold on newsstands throughout the country for more than 20 years. See, the games were in the newsletter, printed in English, before the games were played. I know -- novel concept. They were in The Playbook newsletter -- sold everywhere, including Las Vegas. My name and email or phone number and at least one of the two plays were in each issue.

Maybe Rob can't read. Who knows? I honestly can't tell if he's having mental issues or what.

Wow. I just read some of the stuff from the Wayback link to my old website. When I finished second in Bally's college football contest in 1999, I had a 78-42 ATS record. That's a helluva record. And I didn't even get to choose from the entire board. Bally's listed 20 contest games each week (out of an actual 50-some) and you had to play 10 of them. That is one helluva record. I remembered I had finished second or third, but I didn't remember my record.

I need to get myself a trophy for that.

P.S. So Rob, are you saying Bally's was part of a conspiracy and they allowed me to pick games after the fact?
