3.) anyone that wanted to look into you could and did and I suppose it is more than have said so on this forum. And what they find in this public information is not a single thing that would even support anything you claimed. No real estate or property owned. Only the negative items already mentioned. Now, my name became known and some people looked into me recently. I am not happy about it, but it happened. And you know what they found, I live exactly where I say. A highrise condo overlooking the strip (I didn't say where), but that is what they found. They have even been able to describe my unit. as per sq footage, # bedrooms and bathrooms. Now that doesn't prove I made my money by card counting, but it supports the claim. It is something that is exactly as I said.

So I just see no benefit in meeting some guys just to say I have met and hung out with so and so. The 3 Ap's I have met, were blackjack guys, well 2 of them anyway, the 3rd a mix of things. So most of my gambling time has been spent around either machines or poker. The table-game stuff is a whole different beast. You really do need privacy far moreso than I ever have. That is probably a big part of why it seems weird to me. While there may be just as many people playing poker as blackjack, the social interactions are a completely different beast.

So I sort of assume it would just happen at some point, but reality is probably quite a bit different. You're perfectly right in believing you'd have little in common with most of the other APs.
