Do not go in expecting Dan to cooperate and voluntarily give you Rob's address: expect to get it via subpoena, if at all.

Seems to me you aren't ready to sue, you just want to throw oil on troubled waters; the damage, if any, has been done, I see no need to go the affidavit route; but that's just me, a divorce lawyer, not a "specialist."

If that's what your lawyer suggested then yeah, go for it.

But keep in mind that repeated threats of litigation made to an internet antagonist which are not acted up on make the claimant look like an ass.

Not saying you're at that level ... yet.
