Okay V. I wont anticipate ever meeting Kewlj. So do me a favor...

The next time you're in a casino, please take an empty middle seat. It can be at an empty table.

Look to your right and look to your left. Let us know about the visibility at YOUR casino.

    That's all. Just YOUR casino.

If there were cards in action could you see them?

I'm just curious how many casinos have tables set up that you can view the nearby action. I know you cant at Red Rock. Heck... they have carnival games between the blackjack tables now.

Alan, I was sort of yanking your chain with the "I'll show you mine" quip.

As far as me sitting at a BJ table and scanning the next one over, why not invite all of us to do so?

I am not a BJ player but will look for some empty, adjoining tables to see what I can see.

But I am tall, which would give me an advantage over someone not over six feet tall.
    What, Me Worry?

I don't remember any discussion, or consideration of ME jumping up at 3am and running to the strip? That was your thing.

I never said that. I am not going to let you film me while I am an active player. Other than that you seem harmless enough.

Not sure who this is directed at, me or the general forum? I do this and yes I can see the cards. BTW, I don't own a casino, so not sure what this "YOUR" casino stuff is?

Yes, you are correct, Red Rock is not a location where tracking a second table can be done. It once was, but is no longer. I know RR is your hangout, but guess what Alan, there is more to Las Vegas than just Red Rock. BTW, Red Rock is in my rotation because they have good blackjack games and condition. Just not a tracking second table possibility.

Look, Alan, the bottom line is I always said "when condition were right". You always want to ignore that. And unfortunately, with more and more "junk" tables games (with higher house advantages) and fewer pure blackjack games, there is less and less opportunity for this particular technique. I still employ it when I can.

And it was and is a very powerful play. Tracking a second table and being able to jump to it immediately in advantageous situation, greatly increases, a players max bet opportunities, and subsequently win rate for the same number of rounds played and time frame. I am not going to say it doubles a players expectation, because there are times there is a favorable count and you can't get to it, or maybe a favorable count at both tables and you can't play both. I have no idea how to figure out exactly what that additional expectation is. I have always used an increase of 50% for my purposes, but I suspect it is more than that.

Now I am off to have lunch with my mother and then we are going for a hike out at Red Rock, Canyon, not casino.

Redietz I don't dismiss rigged dice. But the stickman rattled the dice on the table at least twice and they appeared to be unweighted. And each time the dice were returned to the shooter I know the dice faces were turned.

Were they rigged dice? I don't know. But as I've said many times no one made a nickel betting yo.

Kewlj please... you never really explained how counting two tables at Treasure Island was possible.

Yes my pictures were blurry but what I tried to show was that the blackjack tables were in a straight line and when sitting in a middle seat it was impossible to see cards on the tables to your right or left because of the placement of the tables.

Further there were lips on the tables that obscured your view unless you had a bird's eye view.

Why TI? Because it was one of the casinos you mentioned.

You had an opportunity to meet me there and show me your ability. The blackjack pit was empty at 3am. No one would have bothered us.

And this angle of the tables, and the height of the lip, has nothing to do with seeing paint or pips at 100 feet. The angles made it impossible to see cards-- period.

How many times have I asked any forum member to SIT at a table at a casino to see for themselves? Only Redietz says he STOOD behind one table. Well, standing behind ain't the same as sitting at.

Honestly Kewlj you can't explain how it's done you've got to show how its done.

Now... I'll make a concession. If blackjack tables are grouped so there is a curve a middle seat player just might be able to see the cards at nearby tables. But watch that lip and the depression of the table surface... unless you have x-ray vision.

I'm going to correct this a tad. If I remember correctly, I think I went to three different places, two on the strip. I didn't stand upright behind the chairs; I crouched so as to be at sitting level. I also used a tape measure to check distances so I could duplicate the distances at home and check the visual acuity at those distances. The non-strip place I checked was either the Gold Coast or Orleans, since I was staying at one or the other. That's about all I remember off the top of my head. I'm sure there's a couple of posts that lay out the details immediately after I did it somewhere at VCT. Apologies in advance if I got any detail wrong in this summary.

I am very glad you are able to swing another bone marrow stem cell transplant. We were faced with trying to execute marrow transplants 25 years ago, using sibling donors. We were told each sibling had a 50/50 chance of being workable, but unfortunately all three siblings were not close enough matches. Bone marrow stem cell transplants have fantastic upside possibilities; keep the faith.

My girlfriend's daughter was working with stem cells at UCSD before taking a position with Genentech. Brave new world.

Kew is still making a fool of himself over his concocted whopper claiming he can count two tables simultaneously. He says he is done discussing anything more about the issue while Alan may continue on his own, but as soon as Alan injects more sense into his point along with identifying how kew does nothing but make up stuff about being able to do it, we once again see kew's weakness shine thru as he can't hold back. As soon as his argument grows less formidable he just HAS to get back in there and build up his confidence with bullshit again.

The one thing kew more recently has used to help his lie is this "when conditions are right" BS. Of course, he began using this lifeline as soon as he realized his house of cards was coming down. To him it's a "blanket coverage" term, but to most everyone else it's just a stupid excuse.

Simply put, conditions are NEVER right for this feat to be accomplished to any degree of being helpful in any meaningful way, and he knows it. Even if he could CLEARLY see the cards at the next table in order to count them--which is impossible in 99% of bj tables scenarios due to something called PEOPLE sitting at tables and HANDS being in the way along with the counter trying to keep an accurate count at his own table--whats he gonna do?--just jump up and run over to the other table as soon as he THINKS that count is positive enuf and make some big bets right off the bat? Yeah that's the ticket--go from a table where you have a very accurate count going to a table you have a half-ass count going, AND EXPECT TO STAY UNDER THE CASINO RADAR?

All this explains why kew chickened out of meeting with Alan to "prove" he could do it. And that was just to prove he could see the cards well enuf to count them with nobody else around! The whole thing is just another idea kew grabbed from the bj books and from other braggarts on online forums. He won't admit that, but even a caveman can see it.

Oh, this notion of kew supposedly not wanting to be filmed or photographed "because he's an AP"? Nonsense....it's just another cheap excuse for continuing on with his forums charade. His name and address are already out there, and why would anybody believe Alan cares anything at all about outing kew to any casinos (as if they'd even care....)? This is all about kew trying to feel and look as if he's important and nothing else.

Kewlj is worried about me outing him to a casino? What a laugh.

I watched my father make payoffs to politicians.
    I carried payoffs to mobsters.
I watched my father instruct a client how to talk to the police about a man he just shot at his business.

    And Kewlj is worried?

    Oh...

I testified for a defendant in a rape trial. It made the front page of the Syracuse morning paper. And I did it with the full blessings of my TV station because reporters have 1st Amendment rights.

What rights do APs have that are in the Constitution? Nothing special, I assure you.

Alan, read Beyond Counting Exhibit CAA on why the saying "always bet full odds" is a myth.

You're a reporter and don't know the Constitution is for all US citizens and applies equally to all?

    Holy hell.....RIP

Did you go to school under a bridge with Hobo Crimm?

Maxpen deal with this: I dont have to reveal my sources. You APs do.

You dont have the Constitutional protection I have.

    Deal with it.

While I appreciate your candor, both of these incidents would be chargesd as felonies IF the statute of limitations had not run and if the cops knew about it.

    Just saying...hello, ethics?

How old were you when you were a bag man for the mob?
    What, Me Worry?

    I was in college.

I think I mentioned my father was once in jail... as all good mob lawyers do.

    LOL

Hey V... not only was my mother a fashion model who was on the cover of Harper's Bazaar and made one of the early color TV commercials because she had red hair instead of her signature blonde... but she was also held in police custody during my father's trial.

    This wasnt small time crap.

Do you think this forum bullshit bothers me?

    LOL

MrV, get with the program. We're talking serious subcultures here. Ethics? Ethics is mostly subjective, relative bullshit, kind of like the law. Everybody in a particular time and place and culture thinks they've cornered the market on defining right and wrong, and of course the people and places elsewhere and elsewhen supposedly got it all wrong.

In some times and places, felony convictions are like merit badges. You're trusted less if you don't have one. Now me, I was bad in my youth, but since then (to paraphrase Guys and Dolls), I've gone straight as evidenced by my record -- 19 arrests and zero convictions.

You would need to outline the reason why you had reporters privilege in your testimony. The reason you get shit is the context in which you present your nonsense. Besides we're in the age of the cell phone. Anyone today can identify as a reporter and it will be accepted by the court.

This forum is GOAT. We have everything from tramps to secret government operators with mobsters thrown in the mix. I feel so privileged to be a part of this community of (how many currently Ozzy?)
