The last time I got a $20k handpay for a $5 royal at Red Rock I got two $10k packs. I dont know what the correct term is, so I use pack.

One pack consisted of circulated bills. The other pack was new currency and came in a wrapper from the Federal Reserve bank of San Francisco.

I thought that was curious for several reasons.

1. Vegas does not have it's own branch of the Feb but cities like LA and Miami do.

2. How did the new packs get to Vegas? Flight or armored car?

3. Why would Vegas even have to import money?

I asked the Fed in San Francisco but for security reasons they wouldn't tell me.

Usually they're not. I always wind up with $5 or $10k banded shit. Everyone else will tell you the same. Sometimes if a large amount you can get a plastic wrapped brick of $50k. But that's the same used shit too.
